I only started converting mine because it became temperamental and I got annoyed with it. Emulation was always the ultimate plan for it, but only once it died / became annoying One thing I never got around to trying was the original SR5e coin mech (I assume yours will have the same when it arrives?) - it's a front entry mech and I'd imagine if it doesn't work in Parallel mode it could be a bit tricky to find a replacement for, in the same front entry config.
