The Amiga is the best ever home non PC computer. So many classic games on it, such as Rainbow Islands, Pinball Games, Railroad Tycoon, Turrican games. Quake shows what the Amiga was capable of. Just don't mention Outrun. I dip in and out of retro gaming, but I did buy the Amiga Forever package, to go semi legit I guess.

This is an impossible question to answer. Gremlin Graphics, another decent software house.

The ACG key on Atic Atac always looked the wrong way around to me.

I had both. A Spectrum 48k when I was 13 and a C64 when I was 15. Gameplay wise I think the Speccy overall was the winner for me, because of the Ultimate Play The Game, games, which were much superior on the Speccy. Also, take a look at something like Bomb Jack, the Speccy again had far superior gameplay than the C64 and even the Amiga version. Technically the C64 was the better machine and sound wise, it was stunning and yes we'd laugh at our Speccy friends, because we had games like Impossible Mission and Ghostbusters, which actually had speech, without an add on. But I can think of far more playable Spectrum games than C64 ones. The two C64 games that do spring to mind as having far superior gameplay than the Speccy versions, were Buggy Boy and Bubble Bobble. Amiga is however, still the best ever home computer pre PCs coming into many homes.

Another great video. Glad to see Fishsta get a shoutout. FME was definitely a crazy place, full of crazy people, many who must have most definitely been smoking something. Of course being an addict, makes people do some very strange things. FME was never going to be a gentlemanly oasis of tranquility. I sincerely, hope all these people from the early days are alive, well and no longer addicts, even if not part of the scene anymore.

Another enjoyable video. Must say I never really took much notice of the music, but there are some really great sample tracks on these machines. I don't even play emulated machines with the sound above a lowish level. Not sure I could just have stood there and listened to the samples on loop though, back in the day, probably would have got kicked out of the Central London arcades. I know I have played several of them in the past, but not sure I played every single BWB video machine. Hopefully you'll get a chance to play a hi res DX of Reno Reels one day and Gold Rush as well.

Sorry to hear about your Grandad. I'm sure he would have been smiling at you getting some fruity action at the wake.

The quest for the holy DOND , and a dumb question :)

Great to see you going to have a go. The easiest thing to do is create the layout in the guide, that's what it's there for. When you work through it, you'll see how it's coming together. Then I suggest you look for a machine released from 1998 - 2005 to do. It's likely to have a similar way of setting up and creating as the guide one does. Always happy to help where I can as well. -
Yes it's hard to disagree with anything in video at all. Really enjoyable.

Looks great. Some things to consider. Wording repeats or very samey at the top. We have, for free and zero cost under Imagine. Then under Emulation it says zero cost again. Under Imagine should "using actual" be there at the end or not. Or should it say something like using actual real machine software. Under Emulation, there is a full stop instead of a space between the words emulator and fruit. Overall love the design though.

Yes remarkably early in FME life,to have publicity like that. I joined a couple of months earlier. I don't remember getting completely excited about Viva Espana during it's WIP because we didn't know DX wasn't a thing back then.

Was going to mention them as well, as Retro Gamer have a feature on Codemasters simulation games. They have a little boxed, write up about fruit machine simulator. Amongst other things they say one of the Amstrad magazines gave it 0%, because they didn't see the point in simulating a fruit machine, because no money could ever be staked or won. If people, get a chance in a newsagents, flick through a copy and quickly read up about it. Or better still buy Retro Gamer, as it's a great mag.

@char042102 Sorry missed your post. I've no problems with the frame rates, I have a 3 year old PC, with an I7-5820 processor with, Nvidia 980ti, 16gb Ram, if that helps. Dreamcast emulation isn't something I've touched much on in the past. Not because I find emulator difficult to config etc, but always believe like Saturn, Dreamcast emulation wasn't particularly good and all the emulators were without an updates for years. Loved all the Turrican games, so I must have a look/play of that at some point of GunLord.

Yes definitely better. I wonder if perhaps the whole machine should be lit.

I do enjoy going over some of the old videos. I do think the channel would benefit from having playlists with the amount of videos now available. Nothing to complicated something like FME, Gambling, Gaming.
