Different option to consider is a shadow pc .This is a cloud based pc costs 29.99 month and whilst mid range plays arcade simulator well and for that matter most games on high to ultra.It is expensive was half that price when I joined but they not surprisingly went bust and the first thing the company that bought them doubled the price.You don't need to commit to more than a month at a time though they do have waiting lists sometimes.I think for uk its 3 days at the moment. You also get super fast downloads ,it doesn't get over hot.Just a different option to consider.

Absolutely fantastic.One error i have found that may not be obvious is last night i was playing rat race and left some credits in it.Today it remembers the credits and the start buttons flash but the machine doesn't play.

i had excessive bounce on a weaker laptop.Takes over 4 mins for mfme to load up normally(everything takes ages) let alone in the arcade and the betcoms run slowly .I was hoping for some magic that they would work better in the arcade but my machine just has too low a spec. On my shadow pc it works like a dream.

Thanks for this very enjoyable even in its embryonic state. Like every good arcade there has to be a machine that has a broken button.The middle hold button of sonic doesn't work. I am assuming its just not been allocated in the layout where you are drawing it from rather than a bug itself.

All I can say is wow.How soon will we be able to play one machine. Looks amazing

Makes sense but what sort of access would the program need to my system to determine whether I have mfme .

its a bit of a chicken and egg situation.They don't realise that this site exists so they buy the dvd by then its too late. I think having a dvd service will make it easier for people to sell discs.There is really no need for it as pretty much every layout made is available here which wasn't the case previously .You can't play more than one at a time anyway(actually you can but you get my point).We need mods to ban these people.

Thanks for helping join the dots .Most appreciative.I always assumed that he worked in fruit machine industry.Maybe at some point some of the members here who knew him will share their thoughts about him.I have 2 people specifically in mind but its up to them to come forward.As I play the emulator almost every day I think about Chris daily and the sadness that happend as i think most on here do.

No its the bog standard 48k with rubber keys not in the best condition. If fact I put rubber keys on my zx81 back in the day had a joystick for it as well. I get the nostalgia bit a working chase hq in 48k will always amaze me.

Still don't get why anyone would pay £300 for this.An original i can understand.Still got my old zx 81 and spectrum in the loft.

Some were blacklisted by association but were unblacklisted later.Best thing is to play them in an earlier emulator.The blacklisting was Wizards way of protesting the profiteering of a certain individual .A sentiment we all agree with.As it stands every layout is available free thanks to the hard work of Geddy gathering them and listing them and the rom finder in the latest update.You can only play one layout at a time you don't needs thousands on your hard drive anyway.I personally am against any hacking or mucking about with emulator it should and must stay as is.
