  1. Use the donate button, a fiver is not a huge amount for what you are getting... access to over 5000 layouts...
  2. Unless you donate a fiver then you have download restrictions on your account. I think it's 6 a day which is rolling and up to 18 a week or something, not sure of the exact figure but there are a few threads about it if you search. Enjoy your stay..
  3. When you have put so much time into such an amazing piece of software and gave happiness to tens of thousands of people across the world for over 20 years you do not need words. Many thanks... cheers!
  4. Well all the #-B are done that's 252 conversions - so trucking along nicely.. the tool is cool
  5. All done... cheers Wizard... can't wait for 'Gonorrhoea for Geddy' week..
  6. Or people could be patient perhaps and not want it all now or even faster?
  7. Talked about this and it was decided due to bandwidth, leeching feckers etc etc that the new 'help/request' section would be setup for this purpose. Guess what? Yeah no one has used it yet...
  8. Yeah would love it.... would be very very handy. Does it just load the layout or load the gam thus needing the roms?
  9. Following on from a forum chat with @Wizard the other day and in the absence of being allowed to go fishing grrrrrrrrr I decided to convert as best I can all the .dat layouts into .fml. These will NOT be updates, the layouts will be left as they were to preserve history. So conversions NOT updates, hopefully nothing gets broken in the process. I thought I could do the 157. res files we have but that is in limbo for the time being till the Q regarding how to do it is answered. I'm sure I did convert a .res but can't remember which emulator it was. Of course this is going to take a long time as I've about 4220 left to do but I'll eventually get there. This also gives me opportunity to see if rom names are consistent and ram files have been factory reset. If anyone has a batch converter they have been hiding all these years now is a chuffing good time to sneak it to me somehow
  10. Then of course there is this section designed for the purpose... .....not to be too grumpy about it all but a effing large amount of work has been done to make this whole Fruit Machine Emulation lark as simple as possible BUT and here is the rub you have to do a little ground work to get it going. I can remember years ago I was offered a decent amount of cash to go round to someone's house and install it all for them.. not sure if I had to wait around to press the hold and start buttons for them though
  11. I guess it's more of a 64 gig USB or SD card kind of service now. However even with that it would involve unzipping the roms/layouts and putting them into a folder...gosh.
  12. Please be looking in the legacy section, that is what it's there for, thank you come again..
  13. It's because that is exactly what it is... a gallery. There are just pictures there. The downloads are in the erm... downloads section. http://www.desertislandfruits.com/forum/index.php?/files/category/37-legacy-layouts/ Then once there after reading the blurb choose your section. The layouts are in 'packs.' So for example if you wanted Action Bank Barcrest go to the #-A pack click download this file (green button) then choose Action Bank... then you are going to want the roms so go to this handy requesting area.. http://www.desertislandfruits.com/forum/index.php?/forum/61-layout-layout-and-legacy-rom-support-area/ I know it might seem a touch long winded but it's been designed like that for a very good reason. Once you have the hang of it it will be easy... good luck.
  14. That one is for Supreme Leader 'Reglo_Ren.' I personally can't do it. The layouts themselves are located like that so for the larger sets Barcrest - B, Barcrest - C etc etc...
  15. There are 31 sections. The manufacturers of the machines. Once you click a section e.g. Barcrest then you are presented with all the pictures of the emulated Barcrest machines. If you wish to look at them in alphabetical order click 'sort by' then 'captions' top right of page. Then you can scroll through to see if the machine you are looking for is emulated.
  16. As far as legacy layouts are concerned. (I'm not 100% the section looks the same for other members as I have access to modify it.) I think if you want to know if something is emulated use the MFME gallery at the top of the page and then look at the pictures to see if it is there or not. If you order the sections by caption it will go into alphabetical order to help you.
  17. I do not think it has been done at all... it's not on my lists..
  18. Enjoy, and thanks again
  19. Many thanks for letting me do it. Also for the new section today It's does 'BMP' a touch when folks can't even search before asking, but hey ho that's the way it is nowadays...
  20. Many thanks for the updates/conversions..
  21. It's okay I'm used to it Yes got them all..
  22. NOTE: In order to download from this area you will need one of the following badges. - MFME Creator - FML Artist - Donator 2018 - Donator 2019 - Donator 2020
  23. Just to let folks know the legacy layouts section is still being updated and as of now (16:52 - 24th March 2020 - lock down day #1) it is 100% correct with all publicly available layouts and updates. If you are looking for something it should be there.. enjoy and stay safe during these tough times... don't bloody go out!!!
  24. Help keep the sun out of your eyes...
