  1. This is indeed an option i'm looking for in some games as my setup is a 20p hopper and £1 hopper. Example 777 Heaven pays out in 10p's. So I can't use that one (but can use the pull handle version). Long shot... and every game is probably different, but which boxes do you un-tick to make the machine think its low on 10's so it pays 20's?
  2. Think they have to be parallel or something, someone needs to step in on that one. And I think you'd need something else to power it as they maybe 24v and not 12. I see your point with just 1 hopper, having 2 gives more options though. Re. Buttons, not as hard as it looks!
  3. Not the same without coins! Last year I saved £600 in mine. Coin mech ME126 off BF74 at the Mecca £20 - £30, and coin acceptance is 99.9%. I uploaded a wire diagram somewhere which is quite similar to an SR5i coin mech which a lot use. Universal hoppers, rather expensive in my opinion. £80 for two. Then you have to fiddle attaching shutes to them to payout etc. And somewhat make your own coin routing. Again a wire diagram is available. You'll need an old PSU to power the coin mech and hoppers, maybe an old psu came with it? If you cross 2 wires on a psu it will run fine and not need switching on (maybe someone can explain that better). There are alternatives to old PSU's but if you have a spare, upcycle!
  4. Monty Python looks mint, there really is some MINT layouts coming out recently and some have stood the test of time. This will be an interesting post of how you build yours, give us a shout if you need any guidance as I and others have built there own.
  5. Wow, what size screen is that? Bet Roller Coaster looks good on that! Looks like it's on top of some IKEA drawers.
  6. https://www.fruit-emu.com/forums/files/file/3634-maygays-spotlight-5pl240jp-1024wdx/ I've just noticed though whilst playing the version you uploaded it pays out part in 10p's so I can't use it as I have 20p and £1 hopper only.
  7. Maybe I miss read that, this one plays fine and looks ok in full screen mode, thank you.
  8. If you have the later version that would be better
  9. Yep, and i've messaged a bloke on youtube who recently did a video of it for pictures, i think he's a member on here too.
  10. Hi, i'm just going through the layouts and noticed this one (Spotlight), seems the lamps are off, anyone know a fix for it? (lamps on reels) SpotLight maygay £2.40 5p 1024Wdx.zip
  11. Looks like a few variants in colour of it
  12. Is there a better copy knocking around of this? (no offence to original creator), looks good on my 256 colour Amstrad from 1986 but not so good on my modern laptop.
  13. And then you'll get the bug of wanting to build another one after building one.
  14. You can use a ME126 as well, I have a diagram for that, BF74 over at the mecca can program one for you, he's spot on!
  15. I have access to the legacy layouts/Roms, there's a 5p £8 classic in there. Was looking for a DX
  16. Just wondering being the Road Hog fan I am if there was any 5p play versions of this knocking around? Andy Capp Great Escape there is 5p play £4 jackpot, and 20p £10 jackpot, I have both. Can't seem to find the Road Hog Varients
  17. Every machine is different for payouts, on a JPM machine for example; the £1 hopper maybe on TRIAC 3, it's trial and error in finding out which one is correct, but generally all Barcrests of this era, Andy Capp etc. All use the same, so that speeds things up a bit, plus you can save it and reload it in to another. The Likes of MPU5 Big Brother for example just use a £1 hopper, so they're easy, "Hopper1."
  18. Here's my setup for Road Hog, I have a 20p hopper and £1 hopper. My token wins payout in 20p's!
  19. Yeah still have the issue, was hoping to get the older machines on my home build, I like the system 80 ones, like Reel Crazy, I've loaded that up and was hoping to make it think the 10p hopper was empty so it would use the 20p one instead, I can't figure it out though. I've seen the token machines converted to pay £1's for 5 pulses of a token before (saw a you tube video somewhere, think it was a MayGay). For me I don't think its a hardware issue, more a software issue, it's as if the emulator needs modifying in someway. Or an add on to it. In the Pac Drive section it says Value, and in that I put 1, if I had a 10p hopper i'd put 2. I can't put 0.5 lol.
  20. Tweaked it to work on my home build, takes 20p's and payout 20p's!
