  1. An old 80s chocolate bar or sweet jingle got into my head the other day... I just can't think what it is. I remember some of the words. They are... ??????????, chewy in the middle. Anyone remember? J
  2. Do you have any tech manuals or anything that might help with emulation? J
  3. I don't think any of the later Electrocoin lo tech machines work in mfme. I'm talking the original versions of Magic 7s etc not the concept versions. J
  4. Technical info Chris might need, protection etc? J
  5. Seen some mental tops on the £25 sit down version. Quite exciting machine when offering top reels. J
  6. Don't think any of these later Electrocoin machines run correctly in MFME at the moment. J
  7. Not sure if these are what you are looking for? J Super_Reels_(Electrocoin)_.zip
  8. So great to see a new Degsy vid. Hope you had a great Christmas and New Year fella . Big 50 was a great machine, we would just play to take the value. There would usually be decent value in these, we would never take low wins, always went for hold after nudges which would be fairly frequent on decent values. Need to have a decent play again as there some decent jackpot features, didn’t these number? Maybe not, I think there was a show on them though. J
  9. I still do that ocassionally to draw the open fire I love the intensity, great way to start a fire off fairly quickly. J
  10. My favourite was Kaplunk, loved that game. J
  11. I remember an advert for a game called 'Stay Alive'. I remember when the person was out, in the advert, they disappeared. I was only very young and it freaked me out.
  12. Why does it say blank layout. I wonder if he is loading the layout rather than the game? J
  13. Cheers Al, will watch this later All the best mate. Have a brilliant Christmas fella J
  14. If you go to the main desert island fruit home page you can just do a search and all of these come up. J
  15. I released a 10p version of Project Coin Bullseye on here somewhere. There is an older MPU3 machine called Bullseye, I think that is on here also. J
  16. Cheers Al, thanks for all the videos over the year, been excellent viewing. J

    C64 Mini

That’s the thing with all these retro mini reboots. It’s all about getting the product out quickly to cash in on the very popular ‘retro’ scene, the products get little thought unfortunately. Just an android device running an emulator. This isn’t a terrible unit with the latest fix but the joystick is pretty crap and feels cheap. J
  18. No problem, it's the least I could do for this brilliant site(s) J
  19. Nice one, yeah right hand side page is the sweet spot J
  20. @richy... all depends whether it’s a touch screen A full touchscreen would be great, you need to think it through as just s screen vertical is fine but with nothing to lean on it would get a little uncomfortable long term. I’ve always dreamt of a wall mounted touch screen with maybe a little ledge to rest the arms/hands. J
  21. We have a £4.80 token version of Deluxe Monopoly, I only played one of those in the wild on the jackpot setting before they quickly changed to £6 token. J
  22. I always remember being blown away by the sampled sound on this first Monopoly machine by Maygay, surely this has to be one of the first machines to heavily feature sampled sound. J
  23. Ahh.... nice.... my Friday morning video fix Thanks Al, always great to see a new video released :). You definitely had the green Monopoly on a streak fella. Loved these Maygay streaks, full on enriched period, very satisfying when it happened. I hit a streak on the BWB/M1a 10p play £6 token (synth version). Even these would pay the full £30 streak. I quite liked those 10p versions. MAYGAY/BWB SIMPSONS was a decent machine, you would always take Itchy and Scratchy to see how ready it was, if it was slow there was some profit in it for sure. Also if you got killed on the board without getting anywhere you could just plug it and it would drop the feature back in within a few spins... saves waiting another £3 for a feature . These also streaked.... Ahh, the classic Maygay streaks. That's Life could be emptied same as the old Monopoly etc, just plug when you hit the jackpot on the feature board. Later roms may have been chipped. Not a machine I played a lot to be honest. Thank You J
