  1. Yeah, this is a real machine, I don’t think I’ve seen a classic hybrid layout released ever. These are all basically clones of Sevens and Melons, there were many. Mega Bars and Super Bars were ones I believe. Some of these could be clicked but software was updated that included an off on alarm and another for more prolonged on and offf states. You had to wait a couple of minutes in between boots, people would pop out the speaker so the alarm didn’t sound. This affected a lot of later project coins, even though they could still be emptied the alarm did slow the fraudster down. J
  2. I’d say Clickety Click was released after Big Chief actually. Don’t think Clickety Click was ever released on £4.80 jackpot whereas Big Chief was initially released on £4.80. J

    Bikes !

The Budgie is where it was at!! It was a kids bike but wow, it was so light... and easily damaged. I think my cousin had a Boxer or Striker. I had a raleigh Burner BMX with yellow mag wheels, my mate had the ultra burner, I was jealous as his was basically completely chrome underneath the gold transparent paint!! J
  4. Yeah me too WAC. Perfect on a little tablet. J
  5. Oooh, touchscreen ;).... The only trouble with touch screen buttons is that long term it's not a comfy way to play fruit machines. You kind of need two screen, the bottom monitor at a comfy angle like actual bottom, glass of a fruit machine. J
  6. You have all the roms available to us. That includes the first original rom release from 1994. If that doesn’t work then I don’t know. We did all the Maygay machines this wasn’t one we did, never heard of anything other than jackpot clicking from feature or reels and just zapping till tubes emptied themselves. You can’t do this in mfme J
  7. I wasn’t asking for a mention, I was asking what version you were having trouble with emptying on Pink Panther? Not many versions couldn’t be emptied, even the BWB rebuild £8 token ones were doable. Regarding Eastenders, are you sure you are not mistaken, it was one of the later Maygay releases, they’d altered the feature boards to make it difficult to get the jackpot. We have the first Eastenders rom and it can be reset on jackpots and the feature would come back but you couldn’t click it on cash wins. I played extensively and this was the case on a lot of the later Maygay machines, pretty much any of the feature based Maygays could be plugged on the end of trail jackpot. J
  8. You need more manual emptier videos mate!! J
  9. I think this is why later Maygay machines had a feature board that offered £3 repeater rather than a token jackpot. Even those will bring back the feature if you manage to hit a jackpot from the feature board. J
  10. The clue is in the revision mate. This is a hack, I already mentioned this I believe. The hacked version was a version that worked, V1.4? . I'm pretty sure I've done a 6.1 in the wild. Which version are you having trouble with, which specific revision. Like I say there aren't many versions that didn't work. An easy way to tell if it was a worker is if the feature still rolls in after a jackpot win reset from the feature board. If it kills the feature it's a non worker. This applied to all the jackpot pluggable Maygay machines. J
  11. Ha, Sunspot, yeah me and a mate used to get the bus to Hull, definitely emptiables in there. We used to click an 04 Open the Box, it wasn’t an 02, I think Grand Prix was after Open the Box, never saw anything earlier than an 04 on that. Pretty sure there was a Mortal Kombat 2 in there on one of the last times we went. Biggish place. Some decent arcades in Hull, nobles had an emptiable Project Coin Bullseye on a decent early chip. J
  12. There are also REO versions of 5p play Monopoly, I haven't checked them but they could be £5 all cash? J
  13. These most likely £5 jackpot hacks? Check out the alpha. J Eastenders (Reo Products) .zip

This was a iconic cab, so sleek. Thanks. J

    Usernames

I can’t locate the roms on my system at the minute. Would need to check an old backup drive. J

They won’t match up as the machines are on different techs, it uses an alpha display rather than a dmd, lamps would be misaligned as well. I did have them running in my Play it Again Deluxe DX when I was testing them out. The game is switchable 5p, 10p, 20p, £3/£6 token jackpot. You can try them out, I did upload the roms to MPU Mecca and load them into the Hi De Hi DX. J

We have a Ace System1 V4 Hi-De-Hi Deluxe roms. Thing they were in the same cab as the Play it Again Deluxe, but can't remember seeing one in the wild. I had to separate them into 4 files, I did release them over at MPU Mecca, a good couple years back now. There is no layout for this deluxe version. J

    ZX Spectrum Next

Not quite as expensive as maybe an issue one ZX Spectrum 48K. All Spectrum models have their value, I have 2 Spectrum +3 machines and quite a number of ZX Spectrum 48k rubber and plus models. The toasty and the original rubber keyboard Spectrums are iconic machines, I think I paid around £185 for this. It needed a new keyboard membrane but works perfectly. Could do with a recap at some point. The only one I need for my collection is a ZX80, difficult to find one in decent condition as the plastic was fairly flimsy on those models. J
  20. The earliest £4.80 token release (we don’t have the rom) could be emptied by plugging cash wins as well J

    ZX Spectrum Next

I became the proud owner of a ‘toastie’. It looked a bit trashed when I received it. I stripped it down and a low temperature cycle in the dish washer sorted it out
  22. Hated these Barcrest machines. They came out around the time when enriched periods of play had been outlawed, hence why these don’t have a saved for streak, which is a shame. J
  23. A layout can be made for Living in America as we have the roms, it’s whether anyone fancies doing the machine without any images, it would also be a mute layout. If it was similar to another Maygay machine you could just load the roms into that layout. J
