Psycon
Hey. When I run MFME it's runs great. The issue I have is when I run a machine the sound only comes out of my right speaker. When I test the sounds it comes out of both speakers. The problem only happens when I'm playing the machine. I have this problem with different machines so am thinking its something to do with the emulator? Has anyone else had this? I did have a look through the forums but couldn't find anything
andrew96
Machines don't have stereo sound! they are just designed to make noise! they didn't design HiFi sound designed into them
Amusements
It depends which layout you are trying to run. Old games only had 1 speaker, but newer ones have stereo. If it is a Scorpion 5 layout, then check the configuration, as there is a stereo/speaker left/speaker right tick box setting. Another thing to check is that you have the right audio device selected in the main preferences menu box. Treat every day like your last, because one day it will be! Fruit Machine <<<My new project! Psycon
Just had a look at the settings as I have been busy sorting the wiring g for the cabinet. On a scorpion 5 game the stereo option is ticked. If you test the sample sounds it plays on both speakers. Only when you play the game does it come out of one. Must be the emulator playing out of one to keep it real
johnparker007
@Psycon How this works is you set in MFME to reflect what you are actually hearing, it then mixes this over both channels. If it's only coming out of the right speaker: Select Right in settings, to have it come out of both If it's only coming out of the left speaker: Select Left in settings, to have it come out of both 2 [ Arcade Simulator ] Pre-alpha installer: http://arcadesimulator.net | Known Issues: https://tinyurl.com/yz4uom2e | Donation info: https://tinyurl.com/yzvgl4xo [ Community Drive ] The drive: http://tinyurl.com/yckze665 [ Fruit Machine Database ] Initial google sheets (WIP): https://tinyurl.com/2c5znxzz [ Fruit Machine ROM Archive ] The archive: https://tinyurl.com/3jhzbueb [ MFME Launch ] Source code: https://github.com/johnparker007/MFMELaunch [ Oasis ] Source code: https://github.com/johnparker007/Oasis [ Sound ROM Editor ] Source code: https://github.com/johnparker007/SoundRomEditor
