  1. Hi Mathew I believe its only possible if you can run a windows or a windows emulator first, otherwise i think its a no
  2. whatever the manufacturer programmed them to do in the software, different machines use different ones to do different things. some don't even use them. Very much a 'how ling is a piece of string' scenario.
  3. lol, the previous admin did it for a laugh
  4. Thanks for that, and if the layout is locked right click on the splash screen does nothing I presume
  5. depends on how may files you have downloaded, there are limits in place for non donors. It is in the faq if you want to read..... https://www.desertislandfruits.com/forum/index.php?/topic/4898-faq/ There are download restrictions in place for members that do not support the site. At the time of writing the FAQ these are what they are set to assuming you are in a standard membership group. The limits above may go up, they may go down. The only way to remove them is given something back to the community on an ongoing manner or support the site.
  6. If you can just unpack a BPAK your be doing well!
  7. Don't forget... emulation is just that, it emulates the hardware, its not real hardware. Chris was always fixing issues when they arose so this is likely to be one of those such issues. Emulation may be close but cannot be relied on to say 100% it's the same as a real machine would play because of odd issues that may or may not have yet been found.
  8. best to read the FAQ located here, it contains all the questions people ask when they have not read it
  9. You have 5 rep points, so my guess is you HAVE downloaded files, but not read the FAQ so not picked wisely on what you have downloaded and have hit the download limits. If this is the case it is best to look and read the newbie FAQ as lots of answers are in there. Cheers and good luck
  10. percentage is shown on some machines in the alpha display when they boot, If your asking about some percentage meter like the cash meters then no, machines didn't have these so there is no actual percentage meter
  11. I asked the same not so long ago, I got caught out too so your not the only one! lol
  12. very dodgy looking characters in that arcade that's for sure!
  13. internet is free isn't it....
  14. and when Chris worked out the gal chip electronic question/response, I coded one to do the job and it worked! It descrambled the questions perfectly and ran
  15. It was way way back before 5.1 was released, I was talking to Chris at that time (then Jeeves but was sworn to secrecy on who he actually was) as if I remember correctly he had Screenplay working 100% and we was working out the security chip for concentration which also ran on maygay video tech, which we decoded and he got running, but was never in the public release! and through that I was able to make a new security GAL chip for my game, we helped each other! He had his own version which I can assure you ran everything possible tech at that time (Concentration was a very old question / answer game which was really not that great! but I could at least be able to run and test the boards on the bench at that time which I couldn't do with Screenplay) Because I repaired monitors back then we got talking and I repaired several for his video machines! no idea what they was but he came to me with the monitors and picked them up so I did actually meet the knowledgeable man!! that's how we got together with the concentration security GAL geez!! May 2013 !! 10 years ago!! how time flies!! this was the video back then with a bad security chip so it showed no questions!!! that was back in the day before I was told I was not wanted on the mecca lol
  16. there was a post on it when Jeeves (undercover name) changed to Wizard when he released MFME. He had mpu6 cracked
  17. Because at that time the emulator was released MPU6 and Scorpion 6 was still current technology so to avoid any problems it was decided to leave them out
  18. Have you read the FAQ when you joined which tells you the download limits?
  19. Chris removed them before release as they was still considered current tech as was still in use at the time.
  20. yes, its in the FAQ at the top if this section as a sticky post you have posted in which you should read so you know the limits
  21. well ground is usually the negative side of the supplies which are all joined together known as a common ground
