yes so if you know what the machine is asking for you can program a chip to give those answers to the mpu, its how i did mpu5 security chips in real machines, but took me 6 months and more to do it
-
I am pretty sure these security chips cannot be read by normal means, they will have there security fuses blown, BUT as with all chips they can be done by company's using nitric acid and high powered microscopes! but that of course can cost £1000 for just one chip, and more if its a complex fpga, so if there is more than just one chip used for different machines (like mpu4 charactisers) it really makes it very uneconomical to do

Whats the download limit on a daily basis?

yes its in the faq, top (pinned) in this section of the forum you posted in. definately worth a read as it tells you all about the site -
I believe its a false positive with windows defender, you have to add it to the 'ignore' list
-
yeah they do this.... but if you fine tune there personality they can be really really good!!
-
yes the 84 - 86% is the best for playing and saving for streaks as I know it
-
you would think that is good setting, but it isn't, the machine is just chasing its arse all the time and has no capacity to save for streaks.

Source code / disassembly / reverse engineering question.

yes I agree totally, as in locked hardware, in the PC, I was actually meaning specific hardware which is locked into windows xp embedded so cannot be changed for something else that sort of thing, motherboard, graphics card, that's what I meant but worded it wrong lol, but yes agree with you -
Try aiming for that badge perhaps?

Source code / disassembly / reverse engineering question.
andrew96 replied to redbags's topic in The Laboratory
The computer is 'set hardware' any deviation on the hardware and it wont work, so the complete version of the pc has to run first, the mpu5/6 is really just a 'slave' of the pc, the pc controls the show, without the pc talking to the mpu5/6, nothing will work -

It has a pc involved, not just a mpu5/6, much harder than you might think -
Hi, above is in the new users FAQ
-
I got my 4 year badge in September too!
-
Not enough information really, It LOOKS like you have now added a different MPU5 program card into the mix as well. but its always good to say what exactly you have done. Its like saying 'my car wont start whats wrong' it could be anything without knowing whats going on all green lights on the mpu for example
-
a file?
-
I wouldn't advise that as it will mean breaking the seal on it, will make it difficult to return, it doesn't work because of a battery error, faulty goods, return
-
no thats a different error
-
ah well I have only dealt with non working ones, that's what I used to do , trouble is there is too many variables here with things being swapped out and nothing is looked at fully or any notice of what is said to help, we will see what the OP says but I am on the verge of being "I'm out" on this one.
-
not in my experience, if the program card doesn't boot because its bad then the mpu5 will error and appear to not work, this is not like a basic mpu5 fruit machine, there is more to these, that's why the status light flashing tells you what is going on
-
eh..... how did you come to that conclusion? was the status light flashing 2 red and 12 green? I don't remember that. are you just stabbing in the dark?
