  1. Ha ha, he can keep it at my house J
  2. Technically you could search for .ram in windows and delete them all J
  3. Yeah, maybe the thermal paste has just aged and isn't conducting as good. J
  4. I think it has something to do with the 20.1 update. Maybe a glitch in mfme, other people have had a similar issue I believe. J
  5. Search this site as I created DX layouts for the following machines. Monte Carlo of Bust Miami Dice Reno Reels J
  6. Looks like you don’t have any roms loaded up, so maybe missing from the game file. J
  7. Isn’t there likely to be parts of the right hand glass being covered by that large Roman guy? It’s a bit of an undertaking for anyone. Do we have those missing bits of artwork? J
  8. Just donate, you will get unlimited downloads. It works out like 20p per week for a year!! J
  9. What graphics card you running? J
  10. Right click on desktop and select display settings. Then scroll down to advanced and it will tell you what GPU is be using on your display. J
  11. Why can’t you select your graphics card, you just need to go to display settings and select the GPU you want to use? It still won’t help some of the stuttering techs in mfme unfortunately J
  12. That’s not the case regarding mfme, the stuttering affects everyone no matter what GPU you have. I have an RTX3080 and it still stutters in some techs. J
  13. Yeah. I had to break down blended lamps into smaller sizes, there is a tipping point for mfme, after a certain size is breached it creates slowdown. I don’t create any larger than 4K. I spend way too much time on lamping and utilise many layers and little tricks to make them as realistic as I can, doesn’t always pan out but it’s my own little method that changes depending how long I tinker. My day job affords me a fair few hours using photoshop on a daily basis. I’ll definitely be back on it, I love creating, I do prefer the artwork part of the mfme process though J
  14. Yeah, that is my layout running in mfme on my old touchscreen I ran into multiple issues with the layout unfortunately, the blended lamps I created were busting mfme. I’m (very) slowly fixing bits but I just don’t have much love for working on it at the minute…. I’m gutted, I spent so much time with it and at the minute I can’t stand the sight of it! I’ll get back to it soon though J
  15. Those will be a bit of work for JP, I expect anyway. How does he tackle possibly a 3 player game and top box all at once, maybe a single unit and a top box at a time? J
  16. That would be a cool feature for sure. On a different note, I was wondering the best method for people to create mfme layouts for use with AS. I’m guessing basic inbuilt lamping and masks rather than bespoke/blended lamping. Is there any specific method that AS handles better John? Not sure if it makes a difference for you John. Just thinking if maybe at some point you had an automated tool that could rip the layout from mfme straight into an AS file and upload it to an online database, separate from the main layouts, in a pending state so it could be authorised by you then made available once it’s passed QC. Even if the layout has some issues, would it save you any time even ? Cheers J
  17. Sizes that aren’t that common nowadays that are a better fit for fruit machine sizes are squarer aspect ratios 5:4, 4:3. Widescreen monitors in portrait are too tall. J
  18. I remember when I was a lot younger, mid 80’s, they used to have a fruit machine in a fair few chip shops round here. The amount of times I spent my money on the fruity instead of getting food is just ridiculous!! J
  19. Oh my word!!! This is totally awesome mate J
  20. Take your time bud, don’t send yourself loopy J
  21. Ace carried on releasing machines way after the lines issue, in fact they released some later £10/£15 jackpot that could be emptied from certain features exploits, even games like Caesars' Palace could be emptied in certain situations as well as Pot of Gold and maybe Robin Hood. They still released games on £25 jackpot. They are not around any longer but I'm pretty sure they didn't stop until early 2000's. I don't think AWP died due to emptiers, ultimately I believe it's a combination of jackpot value and gameplay. Games became boring as there was little scope for any real game depth or skill involved. I'd probably still have a dabble if the jackpot was capped at £10/£15 with the chance of a streak etc. J
  22. I wonder if it's 5 per day but capped at 10 per week, that would make sense if you are getting an error. Maybe send Reg, the site owner, a PM. J
  23. Maybe he’s changed the rules to 10 per week then? J
