  1. Wow, now that's what I call self compensating, I imagine it will force reel wins without any user input, even if you try to set the machine back. Think Gary wrote some of these machines, he would be able to explain better. J
  2. The roms are available, rather than layouts. J
  3. They should be available, I made a classic of the BWB/Maygay one, I never released it as it was just for testing. These are the BWB/Maygay low stake rebuilds. J
  4. The end of a most fantastic and often special journey. Thank you for everything Chris x.
  5. So sorry for your loss.  Chris/Wizard will always be a massive part of this site.

Sadly, I never got the chance to meet the man himself in real life, I interacted a lot with him regarding his mfme emulator over the years.  Actually a few of us were privileged to be invited to help beta test and improve his mfme software.  Will really miss those times.

The end of a most fantastic and often special journey.

  6. Gutted. So painful to take this news onboard. So sad. J
  7. Yes, sounds like you trapped it in steak mode Yeah I mentioned the Jokers’ Wild emptier last year in one your threads lol . I’m always experimenting as like you it’s gives me a buzz especially when you find something new Good that it is documented for sure Did you do a vid of BWB Over the Moon emptier? J
  8. No mate, I never did any myself personally, played plenty of TT units back in the day, these had dual token tubes, think maybe 50-60 worth of tokens? I never plugged Jokers' Wild in the wild either, I only found that out in the emu by pure chance. Where I used to work I would often get plenty of mfme time inbetween jobs. It just so happened that I was trying to reset the token win on Jokers Wild to see if it stayed ready after it clocked up and then reset it and it offered the hold. Purely by chance. I played many in the wild that were totally slapped, it didn't work on the later rom, only the one that can also be emptied, albeit very slowly, via the token nudge. Great to see them documented though, so much goodness with mfme Keep it up fella J
  9. Thanks for the vid by the way. J
  10. Don’t take this the wrong way fella. I’m only adding my own personal knowledge. If you reset the machine after a nudge in then the reels reset to prior that nudge in. The only way to get the win back on the win line is after a hold after nudge. This applies to all this type of plugging/clicking exploit. These were being emptied in the wild, not a major problem if the volume was low or the speaker was out. Perfect for seaside arcades, especially the busier summer months J
  11. Even the Whitbread Maygay roms has the streak pot. I’ve played plenty of Whitbread roms, especially Maygay M1a games, it just seems they offered better value for money by offering 20p. That’s what the alpha displays on the M1a machines. I do believe we have a Whitbread Ace Coin Kung Fu roms kicking around. They also have the initial super feature bug same as Wild West J
  12. Maybe Whitbread specific roms are non switchable so no configuring is necessary as it uses it’s pre-baked internal config. You might find it works at £15 even if you set it to £5, 5p play. J
  13. I believe they originally had this problem in Donkey Kong. The first 'skill nudge' software could be emptied and it was easy to get to the reel wins. The chipped version you could still keep the invincible board, it was anything but easy as it was actually very difficult obtaining a reel win before the machine would pause for the feature, which would reset the board back to it's default state. Best I ever did was grab two extra invincible boards which was extremely fortunate to say the least. I do find it hard to believe that the same company can fall into the same trap with the same type of error? Crazy. Same with Project Coin. On the original Jokers' Wild, release 1989, it was possible to exploit the token reflex. Once it was ready for the jackpot it would always offer nudges for it when in was within 3 nudges. Taking a cash win instead wasn't accounted for so it would stay jackpot ready, you could even take the token jackpot every £10 recycled through, maybe even £8. Their initial release of '3 Steps to Heaven', which was released in late 1990's also suffered from jackpot ready nudge. Again, you could just keep taking the XXX wins instead and it would never go dead and would offer the jackpot nudge if the it was available within 9 nudges. So it came round quite regularly. I remember having a 10p £5 one for a fair few months. We have a 3 Steps to Heaven layout but unfortunately it is a fixed rom revision. J
  14. The roms already loaded in are doable. I just checked and they default back to 30p play? So not sure what version you are playing? 95404464.LO 95404465.HI J
  15. Edit mode > Design > ROM LOADER Here you can delete the old programme roms and load the ones you select. Are you definitely sure the version you have doesn't time out back to 30p play from 20p? J
  16. You wait for the machine to default back to 20p play. It takes approx 30 seconds if I remember correctly. What roms are running? Here are all roms. Lower number will be the roms to be running. J Royle Family (Bellfruit) .zip
  17. I’ve done the one in mfme. Definitely works, you might need to add a 10p cash in on the layout. If it hasn’t been released with the empty roms then we do have them 100% guaranteed.
  18. Royal Family already has a layout with the emptiable rom running I’m pretty sure. J
  19. I bet it still takes a while to put a video together. My son does a lot of video editing, I've known him spend a good few hours with a 10 min clip, edits, transitions, music etc. J
  20. Dave from reelfruits did a video of his, might be worth contacting him to ask what revision it was running. J
  21. Always nice to see a new Degsy video. J
  22. There is a Maygay machine called Cash Lines that is a clone of MMM, it was released a few years back now but it was a £10 version and was also emptiable. Worth trying that. The layout is only on fruit-emu at the minute, though Vecs created it so he might upload here. J
  23. I’m sure there was also a different trick on Fun in the Sun. J
  24. We do have a £10 version that works, in the dat I’m almost certain. J
  25. Nice, I will take a look. J
