  1. Didn’t know mfme accepted jpg. Jpg is highly compressed file format, sure bmp and png are lossless formats. J
  2. Use lamp masks, they are built into mfme, you just after to assign them in lamp properties. It's fairly easy to do and it should smooth off your hard edged lamps J
  3. What a couple of guys we have here on Desert Island Fruits Absolutely commendable work. The auto-patcher will be a godsend to those who rebuild machines only to find the CHR chip is missing. Thank you to both of you, two solutions to a very familiar and often project breaking issue J
  4. If someone could make JP the 3D models things would possibly move more quickly. Remember, JP is working alone on this epic project in his spare time, he will slowly build the other cabs but till then he can only work on getting machines in that are come in the cabs he already has. J
  5. Great video Al ;). John Parker deserves some exposure to a wider audience. I also find it kind of mind boggling. That is JP all over. He was staying for a weekend break at mine and I got talking about how difficult it was to build a fruit machine layout in mame, this was just prior to mfme v5. Anyway literally a week or so later he had build converter that could take mfme DX layouts and create a make compatible layout. Very impressive guy, it’s an absolute honour to have him as a friend real life. He’s on a complete different level, hard to keep up with him to be honest Big love JP
  6. For Vectra, he doesn’t have the cab for those MPU4’s just yet. He builds the cabs from scratch in a 3D rendering package before he can incorporate them into his 3D realm. This is why we are seeing the S4 and S5 and early Barcrest machines first. J
  7. Just think of poor old JP, he doesn’t really like any fruit machines. Am I right John J
  8. Impressive mate, loving the lamp reflections, really adds atmosphere J
  9. You’ll find a way I’m sure.. lol Enjoy the break mate J
  10. It is a heavy workload. How might you go about it? Prebaked for walking around with attract modes then real on the machine in view when in play mode? J
  11. Wow, it sounds like incredibly in-depth and potentially complex ;). I don't even have to question your abilities J
  12. Oh good god this would be insanity!! J
  13. Please!!! The beta is already released. John Parker is the author and the software is in beta testing phase, so expect some issues. J
  14. You can’t add your own arcade yet, this is a beta version of arcade simulator that John is working on. As the software evolves extra features will become available. J
  15. Do you have a link please fella. I imagine they will only be single touch, so not good for machine that have features or chests that require two touch inputs. J
  16. It’s a wondrous thing of beauty being able to walk around the arcade in 3D. Keep up the excellent work JP J
  17. Spot on John. That Regedit hack did the trick. The only thing I didn't try . Thank you mate J
  18. Absolutely incredible work mate
  19. The annoying thing is it was working, no resolution switching the time. I can't remember how this all started, I went to a machine and it crashed and it's never gone back to working!! No worries though mate. I plan on doing a complete system reinstall here anyway over the next week or so, I've got a few issues besides this so I'm sure everything will be back to normal after I complete the reinstall J
  20. Ha, it's done it again! Oh well... No rush mate, but this is what I get after it does the patch.
  21. Hey no worries mate, that's what I'm doing, adjusting my desktop J
  22. This is simply stunning JP. I use a 4K screen is there a way or option to set the resolution lower? It’s not an issue at all though It’s working again J
