chargrille
Any members from Australia? I have seen the occasional fruity for sale here, but not from my era. Hoping to find JPM nudgers, and some of the slightly later pub nudgers.
bionic_beast
Ah welcome to the club mate, I'm an Aussie myself. Unfortunately I don't have too much else to offer because I've seen no fruit machines IRL.
chargrille
I am relieved to at least find some guidance on these PC based versions. I found a JPM Nudge Shuffle, which was one of my earlier machines. Always seems strange to me that the UK had so many skill-based fruities, yet the rest of the world has drab, boring, one arm bandits.
stevedude2
Yeah we've been spoiled in the UK up until recently. Our games between the 80's and 00's were quite unique and really enjoyable to play. Over the last 20 years it's all slowly moved towards random, 5-reel, multi-line slots much like Australia and the USA. Thank goodness for emulation, that's all I can say! If you can remember the names of any of the old games you should be able to find them on here Welcome to the site
chargrille
First of all, I thank the designer of the Nudge Shuffle, I cannot find their name. Great fun to play after 45 years. Wetted my appetite... On the subject of machine names, my mind has drawn a blank on the actual proper names of the machines I used to play. The big local arcade was "Hambys" maybe? bloke called Ali, in Exeter. I see he got hounded out somewhat recently. I am googling 80's fruity images to try and kick start my memory! andy-1
Not sure if you gave access or not, but if you do check out the layout gallery area This is all layouts produced for MFME, if you like 90s you may want to check out the JPM Bell Fruit and others.
