Man I loved dizzy!!!!! That egg and me went through some times!!! That and spellbound!!!
Fantasy World Dizzy and Magic Land Dizzy were great games. One of them you had to go up into the trees and find the hidden coins. These Code Masters games had better graphics on the 128k Spectrum.

Noel says something like "I can't work you out" when you gamble against the number with extra life for the trap on £70 DONDs.
A rare one was on JPM Do You Feel Lucky when I got a huge red hot streak in an arcade. The bullets ran out and it said "PUT YOUR HANDS UP!!!" Never heard it say that before and I literally almost did put my hands up!

I'm having a Mandela Effect about this. I actually thought he passed away a few years ago. The ZX Spectrum 48k and then the 128k were icons of my childhood. Manic Miner was such a difficult game to complete. I think I got to something like screen 15 out of 20. It was The Warehouse that always tripped me up! Jet Set Willy had that bug where it would kill you as soon as you entered a room. Think it was above The Hallway.

Here's the roms from that pdx.

I downloaded it from Maygay Legacy here. If you downloaded it from fruitemu then the folder will probably have the DAT file which works in 5.1 but it should also have the roms in there too. I just assumed you would have downloaded it from legacy here.

I just downloaded Fight Night and loaded the pdx in 20.1 and it works fine.
-
MFME 5.1 doesn't automatically find the roms like 20.1 does. I assume you could first load the layout in 20.1 so that you get the roms. Then load it in 5.1 with the roms now in the folder.

I don't know if any of you watched WCW Wrestling back in the 90s but some of the music they used for wrestler's ring entrances are actually the same sound tracks on our fruit machines. The most notable was a wrestler called Chris Benoit. His entrance music in WCW is called Replica which is the same tune used on JPM Hagar when you finished your credits and are about to collect your bank.

If you search for Deal Or No Deal What's In Your Box ? Wdx 1.0.0 it is apparently the early ROMs for the Winstopper empty.
They do seem to be the Win Stopper empty roms. It's difficult to hit on the emulator though!

There was a good playing method on these until the later program came out and made it slightly more difficult to get the value out. Here's some game play showing how to trick Mega Streak on the feature board. As far as I can tell, we haven't got the original roms which allowed you to empty the machine from the Win Stopper feature. The later program is the machine on the right which I briefly play in the last 5 minutes.

Might be worth mentioning with Scorpion 4 Golden Game Top Box you need to create a button and an alpha display. Design, edit, right click anywhere on the machine that doesn't have a numbered button and then you will see create button or alpha in the menu. The button needs to be number 10 which increases the volume and of course the alpha display will show you the volume level. When you tick the refill box and door boxes, the volume menu is there straight away so you don't need to create other buttons to cycle through menus. If you turned the volume up too much then button number 9 will decrease the volume level.

Anyone know the absolute top whack streak combo? You'd think in theory as it can hold several times it could go for over £300 but they always felt once you got over the £170ish point that any hold from that point was not going to be a big one.
I witnessed a mate empty a £25 jackpot Red White and Blue in Ingoldmells. He definitely had a couple of big streaks and there was over 50 in the bank when it went empty. The staff filled it up through the coin slot which meant the machine wasn't reset and it held another couple of times after. He must have got at least 10 tops, I'll have to ask him about it.

@ChopaholicYou mentioned something in the video that I too thought about afterwards. It was collecting the red 100 in the cash shots. In the wild on Popeye, I sometimes had to collect the red 100 cash shot if it came first before the natural Mega Streak board or I wasn't able to trap it. As you might know, the Mega Streak cannot go above £100 anyway.

Not sure if I ever seen 3 lots of £75 in the same set of streaks. I'm sure it must be possible though.
-
It will probably never offer the red £100. I played a lot of these dice games on digital units and never had £150 Mega Streaks. Cop The Loot and Paddy's won't give £150 either. The only Betcom type game I think can give the £150 is Cash Exploder.

They are the same... JP start is either £19 if followed by £2 or £75 if followed by a fiver..... (might have been a tenner on big top - honestly cannot remember)
Jackpot start can give the £1 symbols next on Red White And Blue. Not sure if it can on Big Top.
-
Does the machine think the red £100 has to repeat, which means it cannot give £200. The highest win as we know is £150 which is obviously the best win on the red Mega Streak.

My best in real life on a Big top was £75, £75 £52...... it had cost me a tenner......
It was on unit 3... funny as fuck though cos i had been waiting for unit one... and a cunt I knew sprinted the length of the arcade to get on it before me whilst i was collecting a bank out on rollercoaster.
I was cursing him and giving him some serious shit - i mean he knew i was waiting for it.... and what he did was totally against the players code.
He lost over £100 on his... and whilst he was stuck on it... I cleaned up!
If the red streak starts with the dollars £3 win then you know it's definitely a £52 streak. Can't remember the equivalent on Big Top.

This is the great new layout from @No1Stoneywhich is a game that had potential for big streaks and profits. If the machine was offering mixed streaks regularly then you could knock these back and go for the red streak which shouldn't be too far away. The streak could hold over multiple times as you will see in the video.

The original program could be emptied on the Skill Spinna feature which I showed on a video before. This is program 1.1 where the Skill Spinna doesn't work but there was still a way to empty the machine. The Super Board still comes round within £25 of the previous jackpot and with good percentages it will come round after £17-£20. There is a melons setup shown towards the end which gives the Super Board and 8 steps a lot quicker but it makes the system go out of sync.

These are all the RWB roms I downloaded. I think a lot of these were under the BWB download section which is why you might not have noticed them.

It's a tricky one. While £25 was definitely an update, I was never a fan of rechips, and would rather play the machines on their original stake and prize. When the JP gets increased, but the stake changes the same, something has to give - and that's normally gameplay, at least on machines which don't streak much. On those which do it's probably less of an issue as they just change the streak, so rather than being say 5 x £15 jackpots in quick succession, it might just be 3 x £25.
That is very true what you say about the gameplay. However, on certain machines the £25 jackpot is superior to the £15 version. One example is Ready To Rock, which can be emptied on the £25 jackpot but not on £15. The Vivid machines like Pie Factory and Card Shark are better on £25. Six Shooter and Giant Gems did receive the £25 Dx but most others have not. Connect 4 is another which doesn't have a proper Dx as of yet.

The later chip blocked the gamble to Wild Thing most of the time. You had to gamble up to £5 or £6 and hope the exchange was on Wild Thing.
