Has Xmas come early or am I in a fantasy world?

There is some serious shit going on(and I don't mean poops) in DIF. All I see mostly is the likes of @Tommy c and @vectra666 updating layouts for @Wizard V19.5 and they are mesmerising(don't think the Windows 7 posse will like you lol). Gentlemen, I fucking salute you for letting us play these on the updated Emulator. You are a credit to yourselves!!

If I have missed anyone out I truly apologize and permission is given for a sharp kick up the arse.

i totally agree with you there big J it is amazing how these guys work there magic

Thanks guys but it takes more than us two to run the kitchen,

A big thanks must go to

The one and only Wizard for making all this possible

And to the resources used, as without those just like without the emulator there'd be no machines

With regards to resources you can only make great things with great ingredients and great members to help

So it's thanks to the ones who take time to photograph there machines or get there ROMs dumped, or the eBay guys who "mistakenly" upload hi res images for us to nab!

And to the classic layout guys who sometimes do all the hard work so us lazy dxers (that's me!!!) Don't have to find all them yellow lamps by eye.

Finally a big thanks to the site owners that allow us to host our finished works within their sites and are displayed in their front windows upon opening the sites.

It seems this site (DIF) Is now the place to be, and is fast becoming the No1 fme site to search for.

Here's to a great decade (The 20's) ahead across Fme lands

Will four become three I certainly hope not!! As we're all together as one in this fme community.

    Regards v666.

again i agree with you vectra that it is a community effort and a shared passion about the things we enjoy and remember from our past

  2. thankyou reg and retrofruit

it makes perfect sense to me now after what you both have explained and it has saved me a lot of renaming of renamed machines i would have done wrong lol,I think what you say reg about the naming is what i will do

    16 hours ago, Reg said:

I name my machines depending on whatever the name is of the actual machine

and also what retrofruit says to look out for

club machines usually had four reels on the bottom glass whereas non-club machines only had 3.

Again thankyou guys for making it clearer and a lot easier to understand

  3. hi

would it be fair to say that all machines with £100+ jackpots are Club machines even though it dosent show on the artwork or digital panel that cycles through the machine like insert coin and name of machines etc ? i have been renaming some machines and i cant decide if i should add the club in the name for MFME manager so any help is greatly appreciated,i posted over a year ago on fruitemu.co.uk and got a good answer from wearecity but i was wondering what you guys think about it here at desertislandfruits

    thanks AK45

  4. Hi Guys

what would be the percentage of jackpot payouts for £6 machines compared to £15 machines and then onto the club machines like £250 £500 jackpots ,i have been throwing money through a few machines in mfme 6.1 (amazing emulator)  like club vegas with a £200 jackpot to which i have never had a jackpot on after many £s normally £50 or £75 per session through the machine and also club monopoly £250 with the same results so what im asking really is i know the percentages to say £6 to £15 would be a similar win percentage with jackpots paying out 4,5 or even 6 times a session but when moving onto the club machines the percentage to hitting the jackpot must be very low ? so is it based on how much money goes through the machine the same as the lower jackpots with an additional lower win percentage for the higher jackpots of the club machines or any £100+ machines ?

    Cheers

  5. thanks guys i guess its a bit murky on the nudge feature but i do remember "line up" and also "lite a nudge by jpm" but not sure how early they are but i remember in the early 80s my brother playing lite a nudge and knowing the reel sequence and i was just amazed as 12yr old and thought he was gonna get rich lol

  6. This is how it should be ..

The Megadrive Mega was a great console in its day with many great titles like

  8. OH i see what your saying here reg and i really apologise about this and had no idea there was anything worng and torrents or anything else was involved , I was just led to that site by something else and saw the games and yes i thought it was all abandonware which was being revamped by people who loved the old games so i was able to download for free.I wont make the same mistake twice and if i ever feel like posting a site i will run it by you first and also look more indepth about it as there are pitfalls everywhere these days.Again massive apologies i was just trying to be helpful but sometimes i think i need to now get more information first.

What was your best shoot 'em ups choices on the Amiga mine were desert strike , project X , R-type 2 , Swiv , Wings of fury it is a real shame that you can't get games of this calibre on the pc's today.

i once saw a friend playing hybris and that confirmed to me it was time to go to the amiga from a console the Sega megaCD ... swiv, silkworm, Battle squadron, Z - Out to name a few great shooters 😀

Amiga A500 was the best computer at the time.  It's the only computer I ever regret getting rid off with games like defender of the crown, gods, wings. another world, speed ball 2, syndicate were better than any pc game at the time.

Gods was a great game also magic pockets by the bitmap brothers with betty boo music, Speedball 2 was great also and always remembe the "ice cream"  voice over the tanoy when you injured someone 😀
