  1. Certainly good if your repairing boards, and installing them in machine or cabs! Mostly used with either a wrist strap (to remove any static clothes and standing on carpet give from humans, to stop damaging sensitive electronics) or a bench mat for the same reasons to stop static. I use it all the time, every day in fact!
  2. yes 8 reels of green and 8 of blue. It is to hopefully make lamp wiring looms for red dwarf easier!
  3. my order has just turned up! green and blue!
  4. I would say a thicker gauge for those, but if your using a coin mech and no diverter it should be ok for that, you can try it first and see if you need to go thicker, but hopefully someone else with more experience and ipac knowledge will be able to advise. My dealings is with real machines
  5. I find best place is either farnells or cpc, cpc free postage over £20, farnells over £40, bigger discount when ordering quantity at farnells. this sort of thing.... I have actually just ordered some 100m reels! https://uk.farnell.com/concordia-technologies/ew7-0-2blu100m/equipment-wire-7-0-20mm-blue-100m/dp/3375136 https://cpc.farnell.com/concordia-technologies/ew7-0-2blu100m/equipment-wire-7-0-20mm-blue-100m/dp/CB19844 swings and roundabouts !
  6. oh any 7 strand 0.2mm will do, unless it's carrying considerable power
  7. for what? even barcrest used different wiring between different techs
  8. yeah I bought from them once, as a private customer it was a right faf!! you can't just order and it turns up the next day! They have no prices so you have to go 'cup in hand' to them to ask them prices on everything you want...... then they have a minimum order amount which you HAVE to meet!, and there postage isn't cheap!! They are a company it seems that mainly deals with the manufacturing trade which buys thousands of items!! not one off's for the rest of us.
  9. thanks, that's what I thought, but thought I would ask just in case!
  10. Another question...... the switch boxes at the top...... can you rename them at all? I would like to change the 'Test 2' in mpu5 to 'dump' for the hopper dump switch label Many thanks
  11. A bit more info on this problem, If you do the editing in the main screen (screen 1) its all fine! the problem seems to be if you have it open on the second screen and go edit it disappears! I had this happen again just now, so went to task manager and selected MFME right click and went to maximise, nothing!! then minimise then when I selected 'bring to front' it came back on screen 1 all fine!! so that's the tip if you update windows 10 to the newer version 10 when maximise just is not there on the taskbar anymore!! Thankyou everyone for your help, at least there is a way to get it back when it disappears which may be useful to others in the future!
  12. That's great Matty! thankyou that is definitely useful too!
  13. OMG!!!!!! That is gold dust information!! that's REALLY helped without having to mess with that 3rd party cheat engine!! gonna take some time now but I can work through correct lamp positions!! thankyou so much And thankyou too to @dondplayer and @slotsmagic about the cheat engine, all very good info Thanks again everyone! Andrew
  14. Hi everyone Is there a way of REALLY slowing the cpu down on a mpu5 game? I want to slow it down to see the lamp sequences in attract mode very slowly!! I have tried in debug mode stop then step or fast step but it seems to step through the program but doesn't update the main layout which stays frozen as it was when stop was pressed Any help would be good! Many thanks Andrew
  15. ahhh!!! that's where it is then! that's what I was looking for! I ended the task in the end as was fed up hearing the sounds continuously for hours!! lol many thanks for that! I am sure that's exactly what I needed!
  16. I cannot even close the program because I cant see the box asking if I want to save the layout or not!
  17. this doesn't work even though options are ticked tried snap left and snap right for a laugh! it just laughed at me when it did nothing!
  18. right click menu shift and right click does nothing, brings up no menu!
  19. Use the Move option in the program’s taskbar icon context menu To move the window back to the viewable area using the keyboard or mouse, follow these steps: Make the off-screen window the active window using Alt+Tab, Win+Tab, or by clicking the program’s taskbar button. Hold the Ctrl and Shift keys down, and right-click on the taskbar button of that program. Click Move. When the cursor changes to 4-sided arrows, use the keyboard arrows to move the window back to the desired position on the screen. After you select Move, you should also be able to restore the window to the desired position by using the mouse. nope I get no options let alone move! that does nothing!
  20. I am already at max screen resolution, I just wanted to save the layout as its several hours put into it and all for nothing...... worse still I could do this again tomorrow and have the same thing happen! Is there something I can do to stop this zooming off the screen? why does it do it when the mouse goes no further than the edge of the screen? Can I get back the menu as shown above I used to have? where are those settings? anyone know? cheers and thanks
  21. screens are already at top resolution! I don't understand why it shot off the screen!
  22. Cheers thankyou, I am sure I used to have the same menu on the right click as yours, BUT I has win 10 which was 3 years old and no updates till I updated to version 22H2 (i think) and now I don't have the minimise / maximise or any of those options!! now I have .. close window, pin to taskbar and mfme open new one, Its still off the screen!! thankyou
