I can see a few clubbers have not been done yet. Also AWPs.
All in good time unless you wanna make a few classics? Sc5 isn’t that much different to sc4 , ok more to set up but that is it

As for money spinner no clue
It’s either a clubber or a four reeled awp
as for lucky star it also looks very blue chip company going by the reel symbols and stars I’d also say it’s on £2 cash so a £4 jackpot

Hello i have this layout running but the sounds are missing or are just to low is there a way to increase the sound?.
Many thanks in advance. Some layouts you tick dip 6 on, bank one in configuration then tick refill it may have the start button flash if so you can toggle through until you hit the sounds and then press hold 1 till you get to 100%

in mfme is an option to unpack all blended lamps .then you have no slowdowns at all. had this on my sinbad release .
greetings spidy
Yes this does work and speeds the layouts up
I’ve done this on partytime multiplayers as they were stuttering on lappy after that they were fine
also if the layout is of a over large size it slows down
i remember wizard once said “although mfme is capable of almost life sized layouts there isn’t any need to make them that big as most people wouldn’t have a monitor big enough to appreciate the size made” also I made a layout which used a blended lamp which was too big and it didn’t need to have all the lamps used in the real machine
most dual lamps in a real machine are only there incase one blows, in mfme’s case no lamps blow so the majority of lamps aren’t actually needed
also I recall the blended mask on layouts are sometimes bigger than what they need to be as in too much fade/glow.
deffo unpack the lamps in edit mode-

I’ve done this before with cash counter the layout used I’d say around 80% real lamp images
it is possible if you had a camera on a tripod so the whole machine or sections were in view. The machine would do its attract thingy whilst the camara would take several shots of which you’d then have perfectly aligned images of the machine In it’s Off state and lamps on state
probably wouldn’t be so pixel perfect if using a handheld device

Hi there,
Recently registered to try and relive some of my youth, not yet found the machines I'm aching for, but I'm struggling in the memory department.
Whilst I work all of that out, does any one have any good download suggestions for machines that are "fun out of the box"?
I don't really have a particular preference for machine type, I played from late 80's upwards.
Anything with a jackpot of £4/£4.80-£6 token jackpot there’s loads to choose from

Also place the un zipped files into a brown folder with the machine name then Place those into a fruit machine file

Only one way to find out, does anybody have said roms even if bellfruit and I take it still no sounds for it?

Iirc the only way wizard could release mfme v5 was to acknowledge the mame developers and I’m sure it had to be or some of it open source
so to keep mame happy he included the thanks etc within mfme warning notice which is read upon loading for the first time
Either way wizard expressed his work to be “locked forever “ probably due to the shitstorm over the leaked v9.4/9.9.
i was reading via the mecca even this latest v5 and subsequent version may never of been released due to some comments made via another site. So at the end of the day be grateful for the last eight years worth of emulation
As for the Mfme in reality it’s just a computer program and I’m sure it could be opened up if you know how to open high security programs and this I doubt is that highly secure but how much code and data is within , who knows
one day when I’m 80 mame will have eventually caught up and fme will be a distant memory for us mortals
remember nothing lasts forever, enjoy the here and now!!!

Take care slots, hopefully she’ll get better and be back home soon

I've just tried your suggestion, many thanks
Unfortunately it still does the same - but now gives a couple of spins before it seems to be unable to see the opto
It might be that it's just going to be impossible to get going, but it would be lovely to see that even though the machine is physically no more (metalwork and woodwork going to the tip tomorrow), it could live on in some regard

If you did fancy a tinker with it I'd be happy to send anything over that might help
was trawling through past wips of mine and super red bar came up. the reels were out of line but @Tommy c sorted em out
do you have the Wip layout to hand?, have you a image of said machine

Great work so far I take it you’re plunging further into the fme creation pool and turnIng this into a dx seams a shame to waste a decent looking flyer

Long time ago but I learnt the basics from a guide by hitthesix and Ross although I had massive help from the other excellent creators at the time
tommy c, ploggy, dad, pook, ady the list is endless all the best imo. Still get help to this day and I’ve made 599 so far….

You will need to find an image in Infections Images section, or online. Then you will need to use Photoshop or similar to make the image how you want it, starting with an off image. Once off image is done then take that image and lamp each part that needs lighting and save as on image. After leaving Photoshop you will need to convert whatever format you are using to .BMP file.
It's actually pretty easy, I've only been creating for a year, but once you get the jist of Photoshop it's really not too bad. I'm still learning though, but creating far better than where I started, so in another year hopefully even better.
Good to see another newcomer ready to give it a go.
I started firstly by doing a classic, I strongly advise giving that a go just to understand how things work more. I used a classic already done, but figured out the lamps and buttons 95% myself and used the original layout to check afterwards to see if I had the correct lamp numbers etc. Be warned, lol, once you start it's pretty addictive after the first stage, admittedly the very start was a bit of a chore, but I don't really like being defeated and with the help of others along the way got a relatively good grasp on things.
Still hit the odd snag, which can be annoying, but always someone willing to help if they see you putting the effort in.
Get you image/flyer then always firstly convert it to bmp as that’s format won’t lose quality we’re as jpeg does
do this before resizing or off/on images

@dad i think has dx'ed this although may not be released to being too new atm

Did you rename the mfme app to say mfme v19 if so it won’t run I did this when it first came out, leave the file name as is.
maybe someone could PM you a fresh copy then you could delete yours and reinstall it.
have you had any other mfme emulators running?
-
The nudge up feature seams to have disappeared in the 1990’s what was the last machine to feature this I suppose the reflex each way nudger still has it?
