  1. It was just way behind percentage. This machine was all about taking the value via the gamble. Interestingly if you can snag the jackpot from nudges this won’t affect the gamble, so a free win of sorts. It wasn’t that common to obtain the jackpot via nudges. These liked to give you a couple of fake gamble wins to entice you into thinking the machine was still jackpot ready, especially just after you’d gambled the ladder out. Brilliant machines, you could ‘plug’ them and max the bank out to just under £5, so you could actually defraud a lot of these units if that was your bag. You needed access to the plug though as it required some exact timing J
  2. Let me know what you need JP. I will get flyers to you mate. Did you want a decent flyer for each tech, so you have a cab source that covers all possible cabinets? I will put them on my one drive and send you them, just give me the nod, I got some spare time this evo J
  3. Happy Birthday Chris x J
  4. Another shot with front detailing. J
  5. Hey JP. Wondered if this is of any help? I noticed on some flyers there is a profile image with dimensions, very small but you can see the side and front profiles. This is a Barcrest Genesis cab. Late 90's. Games like Psycho Cash Beast, Austin Powers etc. It was also used on games released by BWB, Empire, Vivid. Sure someone could compile a list of fruit machines in these cabinets. J
  6. Barcrest ‘rolltop’ cabs were 90’s. Is that a thing or am I just making memories up J
  7. Wow!! Now we are talking. Not sure if cabs have name id’s, probably a number ID. Brilliant work, they look excellent J
  8. Nice one JP. Your skills know no bounds mate. Excellent work here J
  9. Nice one, look forward to this. I was looking at the offline web version the other day. Good times J
  10. Yeah, the vogue cabinet was an iconic looking cab, no mistaking that one. Complex compared to the early wooden cabinet MPU3 and 4’s I might have pic of my Miami dice cab front on if that’s any help bud? Will get chance to look around, I have a fair few high res from shot of machines I had for DXing purposes. I’ve never used 3DMax, I do have it as I got a copy for my nieces boyfriend. Might has a dig about J
  11. Thank your student for us mate, looks decent. It looks maybe a little too deep but great work I’ll look through some old tech sheets as there may well be size guides and even profiles for some of the cabs J
  12. This is getting ridiculous now JP... In a good way. Could this get any better. Wow man, absolutely awesome work!! J
  13. Bloody hell. As usual thanks for any update mate ;). I think this is a game changer for how people will interact with mfme. J
  14. Sublime sound package Cheers for the video mate and to the rom sourcer... massive!!! J
  15. Superb mate ;). Thanks for all these updates, it's great to see the project growing day to day J
  16. Yeah, I still do it I love to mess with this stuff. I did in fact reprogramme the original emptier back into a ‘fixed rom’ of Monte Carlo or Bust. Yeah still good times ahead mate. Once lockdown is over my house is also open for our geeky weekends fella J
  17. Lol yes. It was having these that got me into rom hacking. I learned so many new skills . Also you gave me some amazing pointers to help me on my way regarding the types of checksum protections that I may encounter etc. J
  18. MFME does do these, it’s been WIP in MAME for many years, great to see they got there in the end. They had some of the Barcrest video ones running I believe but to get the BWB’s running is awesome. J
  19. Your the man, man PS Slightly off-topic I did see that a lot of the BWB video machines are pretty much emulated in MAME now, which is bonkers good. I love MFME it's an amazing emulator, but MAME it's probably the only way forward for a new branch of fruit machine emulation. I totally missed this back in July!! Great work by them for sure. J
  20. Wow. Just watched the latest video, this is looking superb. Are the reels anti-aliased? Or can these settings be changed on user end? Really looking forward to the beta testing, I'd love to have a play on it for sure J
  21. Hell yeah. Good move mate Totally makes sense to build the standalone offline version first. The online stuff will introduce it's own hassles Hope you're doing good John J
  22. Nice work mate, great to see it progressing so quickly J
