Reg thanks for this, we had this way back in the day at ,my work place it got played a lot and jackpot every 3 days I would say but cost a lot for us to force it lol 

Pharaohs Gold is an absolute cracker of a fruit machine.  There is more than enough features to keep you hooked on play and the Jackpot of 250 quid is worth trying for.  The music and sound effects were catchy and well chosen for this fruit machine theme. The light patterns on the display and buttons was enough to catch your attention and pull you in to see what this fruit machine was all about.  We played 5 rounds of 10 british pounds sterling each (with my husband).  He  has never played these fruit machines before and he cashed out more than me.  We both enjoyed guessing Hi and Lo number feature as well as the numbers on the fruits for the trail hold feature hoping to reach past number 8 to win 1 pound or more.  Another feature we liked was Break the Barcode which was activated with a line of various bars in which you could choose from a list of 10 features - we did not achieve trying all of them but for what we did try was very enjoyable.  We are going to make time in the evening to sit together with a cuppa and have a few rounds of Pharaohs Gold and see who wins the most and achieve the jackpot status of 250 quid first.  There is only one thing we would change about this fruit machine is the layout buttons as the text was not very clear on any of the window settings.  The magnify did work with the right mouse button but we still could not make out the words.  Apart from that minor text issue I personally recommend this fruit machine as It brings back memories going to the fish and chip shop with my mum.  Treating her to a chippy. Playing this fruit machine while waiting for our order to be ready.

Used to love this machine in the wild, it was odd though, you could get up to £150 on the gamble ladder only to be blown out trying to get £250

Then the machine would act like it had paid out the £150 out and go on a £30 plus mean streak!

Playing this on an emulator shows how much it does this, shoved in £300 and not collected a win, must have been @£150 on the gamble 7 times now

There was one in the student bar where i was pretending to study and someone in our course jackpotted it or saw someone jackpot it.He then spent the next day trying to force it for another jackpot he must have been £300-400 down by the end and we spent the day watching him instead of going to lectures.
