  1. I have been thinking latley about these 50 credit challenges and wondered seeing as though nobody really bothers about them would it be a better idea to rename it something like "50 Credit Preview" and remove the scoreboard.I hope me posting loads of machines hasnt put people off from trying any challenges as the score would make me miles in front but i really dont care about the overall score and as i said it would be fine by me to remove it.If needed i can stop the challenges and just upload to youtube which isnt a problem at all and to be honest a lot of the challenges i have done arent really a challenge to beat and some actually have zero profit.
I spend time doing this challenge for a couple of reasons and the main reason is i enjoy them and really appreciate the time and effort put into creating them by all of you really talented prople (you know who you are)and its a good way to show off the machines in action ,the second reason is i am working on videos for hyperspin and when i do some i upload them to youtube so when i need them i can redownload them and save hard drive space which means i can link them in the challenge section of this site without any hassle, anyway just a few thoughts and reasons why i do the challenges.

I made a piece of music a while back, which I feel is a fitting tribute to wizard, this tune has never been heard by anyone before as I am quite reserved and very self conscious. It may make you a little sad,but you are probably feeling like this anyways. It's the least I can do to honour a wonderful human being, which is exactly what we found in Christian J Wren..The tune is called MFME Magician. R.I.P. Chris!

    absolutely awesome music 👍

May You can in peace with the knowledge that you have given whole communities the chance to forge new long term friendships and share similar stories with each other about past lives where we all had the addiction of the fruit machine. You have created something special and unrivalled in the MFME software which has recreated those machines we loved or hated and brought all the memories flooding back and gave us a reason to keep coming back sharing more and more stories and to make more friends.

  5. Totally lost for words ,It just brings home how fragile life is and how little time we have 😢 R I P Wizard and remember you are not completley gone from us until the last person on this earth stops remembering you or the things you have accomplished and the sheer joy given to this and many communties which share the same passions and interests will be a very very long time if not an infinite amount of time i hope.

  7. Thanks @davep180 and yes i agree tommy is like a conveyor belt at the moment lol , I managed to find a module that works with V20 so i can launch from hyperspin if i choose to, If you need any images or the module let me know and ill try to get them to you but im not sure how as a novice at sending files etc.

  8. A Quick update to how things are progressing with hyperspin,i am a long way from being happy with it as you will see i have half of the wheel logo's missing and have been searching or trying to lift them off flyers (i'm not that great) i am also trying to record the volume on machines a bit better by turning machine volume up or down using the checkbox refill options on a lot of the machines,i also have a lot of dates to try and fill in as most of the end with ? as i cannot find info i have collected a lot of text files about the various company releases as text file shows below.

Again this is just to showcase everyones hard work and dedication to these amazing machines from the people who do the classic layouts or excellent looking dx wdx's to the people who provide a lot of information and resources and all the donators who keep this forum running and help pay bills that make this community to what it is today and not to forget the fantastic memories these help us all relive and be able to remenise about having good or bad days or being able to empty machines or at least able to discover tricks to make them pay better than normal without having to walk home sick as a dog for losing all your money  ..well i did mostly lol

  10. After doing quite a few 50 credit challenges i have started to come around to the idea of having side art when i go into full screen stretch borderless as i think it looks better and i should have done this from the start when uploading.I never really liked the side art and would close it out in the editor so thankyou wizard for being able to have back files being made after a change,i usually just play the machines on my desktop so i didnt feel the need for side art but now i think i am converted when uploading challenges and will start doing them if and when they are done and it made me wonder about other people and their preferences towards side art.

  11. hi guys i found this article from 1987 and wondered what the order of success would be now in 2020 ? the sheer amount of machines being made back then were huge but i guess in the nineties it was even more ? anyway what do you think is the current state of play regarding this success rate over the years ?

In the United Kingdom the annual market requirement approximates to 60,000 fruit machines (installed in pubs and amusement arcades) and 8-10,000 Jackpot machines in private clubs. Five major manufacturers, all British, compete for this business. JPM, a South Wales firm, are probably the market leaders, but Bell-Fruit, which shares second place with Barcrest (part of the Bass Group), is always looking to increase its market share

  12. @davep180 its a labour of love really and i am only doing machines which have flyers ,i dont care how long it takes as i think it is going to be an ever growing showcase.I had to search and search and watch lots of tutorial videos about flash and sizing images so they would look better in hyperspin but im still a noob at all this and just plod along at my own pace 🙂

  13. again youtube being a pain when it comes to embedding a video !!

this is just a quick update as to what im doing as like i say its just a way to showcase the machines rather than play them through hyperspin as i have never bothered about setting it up to play the machines and i just prefer to use mfme on my desktop.

@davep180 if there is any media i can help with i will do but most of the media is collected from here and some through searching online ,the intro videos are just 1.30 clips i recorded through windows 10 recorder anyway im happy to help in any way 🙂

i use "MGALAXY" simple point and click front end for almost all emulators, including MFME

i used to used that as well for mfme but wanted to add more info about the machines and add a flyer

Thanks AK45. What you haven't mentioned is that because of this pack I am now a member here and have donated to the cause. I know not everyone will do the same, but you kind of made me look like a dick.

It wasnt my intention to single anyone out it was a comment made toward the hundereds if not more that get these for free without a thankyou or anything or needing to join, i apologise if you feel i think i made you something your not and i commend the fact you donated and have joined and become a member but the website which hosts these shouldnt do so without permission which tbh they would never get.

    It's a Hyperspin Add-on pack. I downloaded it

im not a fan of mfme being handed out to people for free when the guys n gals here put a lot of time and effort into creating these epic machines that brings us all great memories back from days gone by,Its a real shame that this has to happen and mfme gets bundled together on some site so people can just get 100s of machines for free and dont even need to donate a penny to these guys ,i have started my own hyperspin mfme but it isnt for anyone else its just a way to showcase these incredible machines

Red dwarf theres a classic somewhere

I have the classic for red dwarf but you would have an easier chance of finding rocking horse manure than any decent images of the machine as i only ever found a very small flyer, anyway i hope that maybe somewhere there is some artwork that can be used but i doubt it.
