Amazing what can be done on a c64 although the genre isn't my cup of tea

Nice game.Quite similar to mage rage in some ways.In between handhelds having sold my retroid 3 and impatiently waiting for the 3+.Seems a superb device and can play quite a lot of GC and ps2 decently so only having a quick game on my phone at the moment.

fun game enjoyed a quick 5 mins on this

Amazing what can be done with the atari 2600 very underrated probably due to the cost.I don't think i knew anyone that had one.Only ever got to play it in shops.

How about a mini pc with bacotera or retrobat I don't know that much about it but there youtube videos about what they can play etc.
-
i did just that got a really decent deal on hotdealsuk.com .The details of it are in the jp development thread. Just to add with the work done on mame those machines can be played through mame on retroarch on android devices and linux handhelds as well.I have them running on my rg351p using the amberelec operating system and the latest mame core.

tbh i have no interest in updating to win 11 at the moment. It works for mfme and thats the main thing for me. They do seem to become available periodically so worth checking the link every so often .Will add that its quite heavy and also seemingly impossible to find the official keyboard for it though a blue tooth one would work .
-
Well the tablet arrived it is B quality some scratches on the back and around the sockets but screen is clear and it has so far played everything from mfme that i have thrown at it which is the point i now have a portable mfme solution without shelling out a fortune for a handheld win pc..Haven't found a way to switch between f3 screens without a keyboard seemlessly so playing full screen with the meters on top.Overall i think its a bargain.

https://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/refurbished-lenovo-tablet-10-use-code-25-off-3960644 I may have bought the last one went off sale quite soon after. For that price and 30 days return can't really go wrong

Found something really cheap on hduk so will try that for now.

Toying with the idea.

Its quite a new build on the android version I have all the game and watches playing on it but I agree its the last option. The alternative is a Windows handheld and then I can play any version of mame and mfme but they are quite pricey at the moment and steam deck is a bit of a faff to get windows on it -not that I have one but pound for pound is the best value.
-
Thanks. What i wanted to see worked namely playing them on my android phone through retroarch on the mame core. Is anyone working on a cfg file for fruit machines or is this way too niche.
-
Is there a list anywhere of roms that currently work/playable in mame? Thanks in advance

Window handheld are coming they just aren't very cheap at the moment.

Congrats on 500 subs.Well done .Here's to the next 500. I hope at some point you start posting in this section again.

Very good game was wondering when you were going to get round to this.On the nes and zx spectrum as well.
-
shame the author only meant this for a private release .Good copy of the original if a bit rough around the edges. No scoring. Not sure what the point of picking up the gold coins is .It doesn't seem to mean anything at the level end.Probably missed something obvious.

when i saw puzzle game i thought yep you've got this generally you do well on puzzle games. This though is devil dice completely mad game. The puzzle part is just like rush hour and dozens of other similar games the time trial game just when you think you understand what to do it doesn't work out that way.
-
Well done game for homebrew. If i ever master 2049er I might buy this .I my view both games would be more enjoyable if you didn't have to restart level every time you are out.
-
After finally getting it to work i found that i was completely useless at this could not control the plane at all.You on the other hand were superb at it.Probably wont be going back to this one.
-
bit of mindless fun.Quite pretty to look at but nothing particularly different to dozens of other shooter type games.
-
Managed to work it out and get it going. Thanks for doing this video until this morning i wasn't even aware that hbmame even existed. There are dozens and dozens of pacman hacks. Was there any particular reason you chose that one to play.
-
Looks good any hints where we might find the rom for this. Drawing a blank in all the usual and unusual places.

When I see the name Geoff Crammond it takes me back to the Grand prix games that he made for the pc.This game is consistently mentioned as one of the best amiga games. To be honest i don't really get it -maybe because i never owned an amiga .Its a nice game and you get the feeling of speed but its very unforgiving though i did manage to finish a race without crashing off though didn't win the race but got a point for best lap it was all downhill literally after that.
