About This File

This is my vision of DOND - The Crazy Chair, one of the better DOND games and the first one to use LED segs for prizes.

Including is a £35 and a £70 version.

Deal or No Deal - The Crazy Chair (£70) - A review by Mazza500

Design / Layout: I would like to start of by saying how well done this classic is. Everything is spot on and the LED segments are wonderful for the feature prizes. The colors used for the features /cash is a good choice and complements the dark text. The ability to insert notes is a great addition for this classic and when on £1 stake it is needed. The phone symbol used is clear and are aligned perfectly. I like that the reel symbols are next to the value of their win, makes it easier to see what symbol is equal to what win. The 12 boxes to the bottom right of the layout are well sized and well colored. That's pretty much it for the design / layout, everything was done spectacularly well.

Gameplay:  The machine is a fantastic one for crazy features and it pays well too. Go all of the way is a great feature which allows a no lose board in which the player can get Mega Streak. Message from the banker is a good feature which will randomly display a helpful message for the user such as "The next number will be a 10" or "Cash of bust will be Red Mist" this can be stacked five times. The machine also has three streak levels which are normal streak, super streak and mega streak. Each can be obtained by collecting three phones. There are 13 features in the game and can be normal or red. Red features usually pay more, have the ability to repeat what is won or the ability to continue the feature after a loss. Cash or bust can be collected when on mystery. This gives the player a chance to win any feature or cash amount on the board but it also has the chance of the player going bust which ends the feature with a loss. To get onto the top feature, the player must light three boxes along or four boxes upwards. There are two colors, white and red. If all of the boxes are white, the deal or no deal feature is activated which the user plays a classic game of deal or no deal if all of the boxes are red, this activated "Go all the way" which then the user can keep playing for Mega Streak without the chance of a loss. The stakes for the £70 version are 50p or £1. The difference between the two is that on £1 stake, all features are super (Larger payouts) and all cash is red meaning that if collected there is a repeat chance. Super Mega Streak increases the chance of paying out over £70. I really do like the gameplay of this machine as there is lots to do and collect.
