  1. This is the first time I have heard of or seen this one despite being a Golden Game fan. Shame the original sounds aren't present, but amazing work nonetheless!
  2. Since I'm a young'un most wouldn't know of this game, but Garry's Mod, it's a sandbox game, mainly teens, kids etc that played it. It had huge potential for people that knew what they were doing to make some money. The whole game is pretty much made by others, different game modes and lots of people creating servers and running their own game modes. People spend money on other peoples servers that they enjoy and get premium content, special permissions etc for donating. I decided to make a casino game mode. I turned it into a pay to win thing, I had roulette tables, poker, slots even a custom lottery system and progressive jackpot slots, everything a real casino needs. Even had VIP rooms people could pay to enter with higher jackpots and better percentages. I setup a custom donation system, you could buy chips for real money, play the machines and then redeem the chips for prizes such as giftcards, games etc. Got really popular and ended up making a quite a bit of cash from it. All this from inside a kids game. Funny I did all this before being old enough to even visit a casino myself, 6-7 years ago now.
  3. Never got on with VR, tried a whole bunch of headsets but just found the quality too low for my liking. Tried the Oculus Rift, Oculus Rift S and supposedly the best Samsung Odyssey Plus. Quest 2 doesn't actually need that high of a spec pc to be able to run compared to a Rift S so will be good for anyone wanting to try it out when the time comes. CPU: Intel i5-4590 / AMD Ryzen 5 1500X or greater RAM: 8 GB OS: Windows 10 VIDEO CARD: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 / AMD Radeon 400 Series https://support.oculus.com/444256562873335/ (GPU Compatibility) Looking forward to further updates and the pre-alpha. I have a i9 10900k and a rtx 2080ti so can't wait to max everything out in 4k.
  4. UI looking great and looks super easy to use. Can't believe how fast this is progressing. Fantastic work as always
  5. Been so close to buying one multiple times. Both pushers are a lot of fun
  6. Remember every arcade getting a few Magic 7's when they were released during 04/05. They can streak like crazy if played right. Also Pac-Man Ball was everywhere as well. Another non-standard that was unique was Club Kart Prize. Used to always empty it at my local. Race round a track collecting money then had to stop the kart at the right time to win it. Some versions had a double or nothing choice after you won as well. Two versions clubkprz and clubkpzb, mame/demul roms running on Naomi 2. There was also a pool version that paid real money. Trickshot money pool or something it was called. Can't seem to find images or any trace of it online. Remember you had to pot like 3 balls to start earning money then you get a choice to cash out or play on to win more.
  7. Never knew it was that good to use, looks really good having everything organised
  8. Do you prefer to have your meters on long term or short term? (Changed in preferences) Long = Meters display the total in and out for the history of the machine Short = Only displays in's and outs' from the current session I have got mine set on long term as its nice to see how much I have plowed through lol
  9. I feel guilty, I have hundreds of played layouts and I don't even have them in the MFME directory (5.1) / even used the game manager. I think it is time for a sort out haha
  10. This is effecting anything that excepts coins massively. Does look cool though. Every machine will need to accept these so its going to take a lot of work for the big arcades lol.
Deal or No Deal - The Crazy Chair (£70) - A review by Mazza500 Design / Layout: I would like to start of by saying how well done this classic is. Everything is spot on and the LED segments are wonderful for the feature prizes. The colors used for the features /cash is a good choice and complements the dark text. The ability to insert notes is a great addition for this classic and when on £1 stake it is needed. The phone symbol used is clear and are aligned perfectly. I like that the reel symbols are next to the value of their win, makes it easier to see what symbol is equal to what win. The 12 boxes to the bottom right of the layout are well sized and well colored. That's pretty much it for the design / layout, everything was done spectacularly well. Gameplay: The machine is a fantastic one for crazy features and it pays well too. Go all of the way is a great feature which allows a no lose board in which the player can get Mega Streak. Message from the banker is a good feature which will randomly display a helpful message for the user such as "The next number will be a 10" or "Cash of bust will be Red Mist" this can be stacked five times. The machine also has three streak levels which are normal streak, super streak and mega streak. Each can be obtained by collecting three phones. There are 13 features in the game and can be normal or red. Red features usually pay more, have the ability to repeat what is won or the ability to continue the feature after a loss. Cash or bust can be collected when on mystery. This gives the player a chance to win any feature or cash amount on the board but it also has the chance of the player going bust which ends the feature with a loss. To get onto the top feature, the player must light three boxes along or four boxes upwards. There are two colors, white and red. If all of the boxes are white, the deal or no deal feature is activated which the user plays a classic game of deal or no deal if all of the boxes are red, this activated "Go all the way" which then the user can keep playing for Mega Streak without the chance of a loss. The stakes for the £70 version are 50p or £1. The difference between the two is that on £1 stake, all features are super (Larger payouts) and all cash is red meaning that if collected there is a repeat chance. Super Mega Streak increases the chance of paying out over £70. I really do like the gameplay of this machine as there is lots to do and collect. Results: Design / Layout: Gameplay: Payout: Overall:
