To MFME 5.1 or not to MFME 10.1a

Ok so before you all start shouting 'Noob' and throwing rotten veg, I'm still learning and failing a lot...

I'm struggling with some downloads I made - When I open MFME X.x it tells me that I need to open in a different one, then it just says ROM missing, wrong password...  etc etc

Am I opening in the wrong version or are the downloads the issue. When others seem to be using them all ok, I'm sure the issue is me.

Is there a sure fire way to know which EMU to use?

use MFME V19.8 (download V19 and update it to ver 19.8 via the about tab when you have installed V19)

and install this..

https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=8109

then youre good to go.

(the above only applies if you are running windows 10, as MFME V19.xxx only runs on windows 10.)

DX runtime is not needed for v19, only for v5.1 and v6.1
