Seems to work great on macOS M1 + Parallels

I don't have access to a decent Windows PC, so I tried running on an M1 Mac using Parallels with Windows 11 and it seems to run perfectly fine in terms of sounds, graphics, and movement.  Not installed MFME yet but from what I've read from ports in other threads that it should also work with no issues either.

That's pretty cool, thanks for letting us know :)

Down the line, native MacOS and Linux builds are planned (fruit machine emulation will be driven by MAME only for those non-Windows builds), but good to know there's an option for Mac users who have the new generation M1/2 apple silicon.

Another user @slasher did have some luck getting it working on Linux under a virtual machine, though I think it was pretty low framerate.  I've not tried, as in the long term, native builds are the way to go - but that's great to hear that it all runs 'perfectly' on M1 without low framerate issues :) (have to assume the same will be true for M2)... certainly takes a bit of pressure off doing a MacOS version!
