cannot save gamedb

Hi, I'm having this popup come up every time I load a different rom. Doesn't matter which rom, it always pops up.

It's not a major issue, as it just goes away when I click ok, but is there something I've not set correctly?

Apologies if this is obvious. I did a forum and Google search and couldn't find anything

EDIT - Probably should have said I'm using MFME v20

First try using the update option in MFME, File/Check for Updates.

If that doesn't do anything, then follow the below.

When you install MFME, a file is created in the MFME installation folder, called gamesv20.0.db, make sure it exists and is not set to read only for instance.

Another copy of that file, will also be created, where you select your main game folder, in the game manager.

So click on game manager, then on database, then set the folder where you keep your games. If you keep your games in individual folders say Mfme/Games/Barcrest, Mfme/Games/Maygay, then just set the folder as the parent folder Mfme/Games

Then do a scan all.
