    That's not an AWP, we have different legislation over here so the old S16 machines (or B3/B4 as they're known now?) are allowed in pubs.

    So that's:

    1) Random

    2) £500 cash jackpot

    3) Up to £2 per play

    In the UK they're not allowed in pubs so they still have 'normal' fruit machines, albeit with £100 jackpots at up to £1 per play.

    The machine I play at the end of the video (Swing My Axe) is the sort of machine you'd find in UK pubs.

    The random £500ers have proved to be very popular over here, and have pretty much seen the traditional fruit machine out to extinction.

    Cloud 999 also used to have the streak in it on the 2p play at Butlins. It makes sense really, factory reset, generous, then go on the streak a few quid later and then just plug it for a factory reset. It all seems so simple. I guess if you knew a place where the machines were switched off overnight, you'd be outside waiting for it to open every morning lol.

    That would work if the battery backed RAM was shagged, otherwise it wouldn't be a RAM reset. (As Wizard notes above, and also demonstrated in the video.)

    I remember an arcade in Bury had a lo-tech machine of some description by one of the lesser known manufacturers, (I really can't remember the name of the machine or the company, and I don't think it's ever been emulated), that did a factory reset every time they turned it off and on. As I went in the arcade so often, I noticed that every morning the reels were in the same position and if I played it, I'd win about a fiver.

    I managed to keep this up for quite a few days until the arcade cottoned on and fixed the machine :D

    I had a thread over at Fruit-Emu for this, but the forums there have been quite badly bust for a little while now so I'll transplant the thread over here if Reg is agreeable :) Also, DIF has proved to be a really solid FME site and Reg runs a good tight ship too, so this might be a better place for it anyway. (Especially because I'm posting to the RAM+GAM file forum here with the rare ROMsets I've covered in videos, and also the autoplay files for maxed out cashpot DONDs and suchlike.)

    If you're not already aware, my channel is at the link here, it's all about fruit machines, fruit machine emulation, and occasionally videos of me out on the beer playing real fruit machines.     Over at Fruit-Emu I would add a post to the thread with a link to the most recent video I'd uploaded, it worked quite well as it gave folks a chance to talk about the machine, memories of it, the layout, a bit of the emulation history and so on.

    Latest video on the channel is Blue Moon, the old £4.80 jackpot lo-tech AWP from Barcrest, which somehow they managed to fail at, and it was emptiable. Mad skillz there, Barcrest.

    Cheers Reg I'll get them sent over shortly :)

    I'm still tweaking my settings and I've challenged myself to find a configuration where the machine plays itself conservatively and just sort of keeps around %age, therefore the bank should never get that big. But it'd definitely be better to have the coin inhibit functioning just in case.

    Also, I never want it to end up getting a cashpot (as the goal here is to max the cashpots out), so it'll never CASH OR BUST and it'll never NO DEAL (it just DEALs on the first offer on the DOND game when achieved.) Still trying to work in the right logic to get it to switch stakes in a tidy manner.

    This really is quite something, it'll be the next video for my channel, the word about this feature needs to be spread!

    This is awesome stuff, just had a play around with it myself, what a powerful and genius addition to the emulator!

    Any idea on coin lock outs for other techs Reg?

    I'm currently doing autoplay settings for DOND - GOLD which is a Scorpion 5 AWP, this will be a great way to get the cashpots maxed out!
