Good call here, totally forgot about this one. Great memory's there.
Also fall down when you tried to turn the handle to start it off and everything would move on the board so it wouldn't work anyways.
For mash get Smash was the slogan I think they also used to laugh at the way humans made mash(peeling them and boiling them)

It's all done in the best possible taste (lol it's a quote from one of the characters in the show )great show but would not be the same today's as most comedy's from the 80's are not PC I love all the 80's comedy's as I'm not very PC myself being an 80's teenager

Barr drinks 1970's
And don't forget the Barr bottles with the hand it back red tops, when empty take it back to the shop and get 10p back per bottle. Now that's recycling back in the 70's
My old man would save enough bottles, than when we was broke trade them in for some fags.
Plus the classic tizer ads
Dont blame me if you watch the 2nd ad and start humming it in your head.
The 2 security guards are the 2 skinheads in the Young ones trying to get into the party

Think everyone had one of these sometime as a kid i had mine from a jumble sale with (looking back)possibly half the things missing so am glad i only payed 5p or so. Anyways did anyone make the patterns? And if you did what do you do with them? You wouldn't put them on your wall would you? No. Its was s**e, but because its retro it ends up in this topic.
