Thanks very much for providing endless resources, we really do appreciate it. I've seen those pics on your Drive but they would still need a hell of a lot of time and work to get them looking right, something I don't have a lot of these days unfortunatley.
As said before, if anyone wants my WIP its ready to go. It might save someone a bit of time.

I have a wip for Cleo’s Gold but couldn’t find decent enough images. Happy to pass it on if anyone fancy’s it.

Thanks very much for these. Obviously you had access to the same area as me
I just wanted to point out that Lucky Gems Mega Roll Casino has lock up issues which I was unable to resolve. Also I've got a Money Mad Hatter DX yet to release, however there are a few roms in there which haven't yet been emulated.
[NOTE] I've just released Thunderbirds Club at DADsFME.
[EDIT] I think the only one left within the 3 year rule is Club Don Deal but that's only a couple of weeks to go. There's some good artwork around for that but I'll leave that for someone else to do as I've pretty much retired from DXing these days.

I can't post this in the releases section so it's here. For future reference, Red Gaming disco buttons seem to use settings 64, 16, 8 and start at position 9.
Lock 'n' Load updated.zip 8.04 MB · 1 download
The same problems are with the DX so I might fix that in due course. Basically, the middle lights are 180 degrees wrong and I don't think the disco button was implemented.
Maybe you’re unaware but it’s customary to seek permission whenever possible from the original creator before uploading changes/amendments etc…
Even if your intentions are good it can sometimes cause problems. Please bear that in mind.
Thanks

Hmm, this layout appears to be mute for me. Am I doing something wrong?
If you downloaded this from the legacy section then it doesn't come with a '.ram' file therefore the volume might need adjusting. Check the refill box and cycle through the options with 'Start' until you reach 'Volume' then adjust higher or lower with the hold buttons. Hopefully that should fix it for you.

Hi,
I've just got myself a laptop to play fruit machines on the emulators, and I wondered which version of Windows is best to install?
I'm guessing Windows 10, but any advice is appreciated.
Thanks.
MFME runs fine on Windows 10 or 11.

Ahhhh yes good shout, that got redone for MFME didn't it? It was definitely a thing on BFMulator.
Away from my main PC at the moment so can't check.
I did a conversion of my BFMulator layout which still needs a lot of work, but its just about playable in MFME.

Behind the scenes we're all one big happy family apart from Fruit Emu who's owner doesn't seem to care anymore. DIF, the Mecca, DXcellent and DADsFME are very closely linked as we (the site owners) all go way back and a mutual trust and friendship now exists.
As for resources, there's nothing at FE that can't be found here so I wouldn't worry. All the active creators have access to what they need and if anything new comes up such as artwork or roms they're always shared and made available to those who want them. The days of hoarding stuff thankfully seems to have long gone.

I have a sneaky feeling you're trying to load these into MFME (I might be wrong). These are ZX Spectrum programs therefore you need a dedicated Spectrum emulator to run them. I've tried them on two different emulators and they run fine.

No, MFME is Windows only and won't work on Android.

ahhh dad that wet's my mfme whistle... i think you'd go straight to the top of my hall of fame if that became playable.. out of interest would it be helpful if i asked the owner for the program, chances of which are pretty slim but i've found money tends to work haha.. would that even help?? i have no idea as you well know haha
Hmmm I can’t see it working even with the video file as I don’t see any way to link them.
if the great man were still here he’d have it sorted for me within an hour. That’s what he was like!!

I have Party Games running but don’t have the video file, therefore it errors on I initialisation. Plus I don’t think wizard incorporated the facility into MFME.

Hi all came across this in legacy layouts.Loads but will not run any help thanks.
Well that's REALLY interesting as I had no idea my layouts were being added to the legacy section, but that's for another discussion.
The reason its not working properly is because the legacy section doesn't give you the RAM file which is important for machines such as Blueprint/Betcom & Reflex. Without the RAM file the machine willl need setting up again and unless you know how to do this it simply won't work.
Here's another zip file which includes what you need.....

I’ve had a wip in progress for years now but it sufferers from lockups when entering the top board. Can’t seem to find a cure, plus I can’t find any decent artwork either so unfortunately it’s on the permanent todo list

Ah buggers, I tried a few and they seemed ok - this must be a bug - what is one of the arcade games that is rotated for you please?
Actually most I tried. Space Invaders 1 & 2, Frogger, Galaxians etc
Star Castle works fine though, which is the one I asked for so thanks very much for adding that

Fantastic work there JP athough quite a few of the Arcade games for me are rotated 90 degrees clockwise. My lappy display res is 1920 x 1080 if that has anything to do with it??

Nothing showing on the Alpha at all. I got Popeye running OK so I'm at a loss at the moment. Probs something simple I'm missing.
