    Ah buggers :/

Could I ask you to run it again please, and move the mouse to the very top-left corner and click quickly three times (after it's gotten stuck)?  You should then get a screen pop up that looks like this:

If you could post a screenshot of that in here please, it might have a clue to help me figure out why it's got stuck.  We'll definitely be able to get you going again, but it'd be good if I could perhaps figure out a proper fix for this issue :)

That's solved the issue, how do I add my fruit machine please?

Any changes made mfme will ask if you want to save on exit.

What are you changing in the layout?  Depending on whether the layout is in a ‘published’ format might depend on what you can save.

A published layout has some parts of the layout protected.

Hi, I've only tried one, it was Club Cops N Robbers £75.

I guess I should try others before giving up on just the one I tried really.

  3. Good morning.

I'm trying to edit / crop a layout but with no joy within MFME 20.1.

I've seen a few posts down a topic on it but I can't seem to save the layout.

Do we have a "how too" guide on how to do this please? I can't seem to find one using the search option.

    Thanks in advance

    Regards

It's in the legacy section here. If you've donated you should be able to access it in the PCP section.

Really? Where please? I have looked and could only find one Bank Raid and it was the incorrect one.

Reason it's only available there is because that is the forum that member frequents most. Signing up to the mpu mecca is a totally different site, but it will also have it's own rules regarding downloads.

    Thank you for the clarification.

  6. Hi all,

Maybe a very daft question but here goes, are you able to go between this site and the others that are linked to this site with a paid 12 month membership?

I've remembered this old classic from my childhood chip shop, after a Google search I've found it but it only seems available on Fruit-Emu.

    https://www.fruitemu.co.uk/ib/index.php?app=forums&module=forums&controller=topic&id=9340

Uploaded nearly 9 years ago, I've looked in PCP & BWB (just incase it was hiding in that pack) Legacy packs but I can't seem to find it.

Looking at the comments on Fruit-Emu, it would appear it has been proper emulated.

    Thanks in advance

I'm sure you'll get there one day lol

How are you getting on with things?

    Hi Big K 😂 sorry Big J.

I'm getting on ok, I've a little experience in using MAME so it wasn't so hard to get a few oldies up and running, just struggled with Action Bank yesterday but a few nice members pointed me in the right direction and I was up and running shortly after. Luckily the emulator points to the file you need once you go into the folder.

I've had quite a few 'hairs on the back of my neck moments', hearing sounds I've not heard for 30 years. This is one amazing group and £10 to join to bring back so many memories seems extremely cheap.

    Kind regards

    Dave

The legacy section will stay as it is - happy with how it works and to be honest - it's not a huge drain.

There are no stupid questions, everybody starts from zero when it comes to this emulator and when people ask, that means they are using it which I am sure would make the late @Wizard who as the author of it very happy.

Thank you Reg, I'm sure I'll find the one I want, it was just odd finding so many files in one file. I've been lucky so far with just the one .gam file with the few ones I've downloaded.

That seams a hell of a lot of bandwidth wastes there

I’ve never used the legacy section as have most if not all layouts, but take the above file for instance there’s at least ten to 12 different  versions each fml weighing in at approx 2-3mbs each depending on size and each of those is accompanied by another 1mbs plus of gam and ram in each so that’s totalling approx 4mbs per game

of which said member will only want one dx and maybe one classic of said layout so the other 36mbs of data have been wastefully downloaded costing the members and site owners bandwidths

so couldn’t either each game be separately downloaded starting with the latest dx or classic available

Yes it’s a lot of work but you could make each layout have sub sections each containing the respective files in downward order

so a member clicks onto say “action bank” then they’re offers the 10plus files to download separately that way the member is only downloading one file needed not 10?

and wouldn’t be bombarded with all these fml/gam and ram files?

That would be a great idea and would stop questions from new members like myself.

  10. Good morning, another numpty post from me.

I wonder if anyone can help, I've just downloaded the above fruit machine (a pub classic I remember from about 1989 on a £4 jackpot, I used to love it when the Action nudges dropped).

I've extracted the file and have been presented with all these files, I know you use the .gam file to use with the MFME emulator, I just don't know what one I'm supposed to use.

Could someone please explain why so many files are within the zip file and what do they all mean, most importantly, which one do I use to play this classic fruit machine.

    Thanks in advance

No worries @Dave King I already knew it was a typo but if I were you I'd avoid that cunt above who calls himself @slasher he is a right troublemaker:P

I'm easy mate, don't sweat it, we are all friends here, just be yourself and if you are anything like us god help us lol

I'm a little new to be calling members names just yet, especially after only 3 or 4 posts.

But reading the threads, it seems you have quite a bit of banter and jesting with one another, seems to be a united group with lots of helpful people.

I'm really sorry, I pressed the key next to J which was K by mistake and didn't check what I wrote.

Not the best way to start off on the forum.

  14. Hi everyone, my 2nd post!

Just trying to rack my brains about a boxing fruit machine around the 97-98 era. I believe it was called Fight Night, no idea who made it, is a copy on Desert Island Fruits please? I can't seem to find it. I'm not sure if I'm looking in the right places to find it, so many fruit machines to choose from. I'm very overwhelmed with all the content you have on this website.

I don't really know where to start.

I have downloaded the emulator ready to try this.

    Thanks in advance

Newbie not so bright Dave (I'll pick it up soon enough hopefully).
