  1. The original Caesars Palace program had a strange glitch in the program where it would give a bank of something like £42,000. Many people know that Super Golden Hold boxes is jackpot but if the boxes were already on the line from a mystery win then it made the program go bonkers! Hold the reels quickly before they start to move and the video shows what happens.

Thanks chops k I’ll check that out as never played much other than reds in the 70 era.. thought it was one where you played it up the side only to get the 70. So will be nice to know how to play the thing

That was P3 Alien where you played it up the side for the jackpot. The first program was an empty where you hit the7 in the window on the low down feature. The second program you could go lower than 4 before the corner even with a step and it will win to a 3. Then step to the 12 for the jackpot.

  3. So the roms already in the Alien layout are alnv 0_3 which is what we called a P4 Alien because it was the 4th program where you had to gamble up to Out Of This World trying to get lucky 7 and steps from the bonus on the way.

There are also alen 1_2 roms which don't seem to work in the layout. Could be because they are MPU6? Not sure which program these alen 1_2 roms are. If it is MPU6 then it surely must be this later hint zero program.

This video is Unlisted, if features me getting the £70 trap on Star Wars and a £28.80 Nemesis on Roller Coaster (£10 jackppot). The cafe/arcade got rid of most of their machines as it wasn't worth paying the licence on them, it's still there but they only have a handful of machines, mostly £500 randoms - and the place only opens in the evenings. The Roller Coaster and Star Wars went in the culling unfortunately, although TBH once I'd done the Star Wars about three times it was permanently on its arse so I don't think anyone else was playing it :D

The main thing to look for on each board is the 6 icons all below £15 on the cash trail ideally. I saw a comment on the video asking about the Super Hold trick. We do have the roms actually. It works on the £35 Rainbow Riches roms.

How do you get £90 from Rollercoaster? I've never seen it repeat more than 3 times.

edit; amusingly I just put £20 in a £10 rollercoaster. Got a top that went to £40, then jackpot off super hold, another off 5 nudges, then big money coconuts for another £20. Plus a couple of £1.20s and thats a £82.40 collect!

Roller Coaster can repeat 5 times on the top feature. I got £90 twice before and a £75 on the £15 jackpot. Also I have witnessed £8 token do a £48 top feature. So that's the 5 repeats again. On the £10 jackpot the feature to go for is actually Nemesis as it will go all the way for £28.80 most of the time. If it does you over then it usually loses fairly low down on the wins. Also play for Nemesis on the £5 jackpot version as it will often go all the way for £14.

You could ram reset most emulated fruit machines and they will play the exact same sequence if played the the same, I imagine anyway, I haven’t tested it.  That’s just the result of a compensated machine and the way they are coded.   Once you play differently the outcome will diverge obviously.

Just to add something about RAM reset sequences. I am currently exploring Golden Game RAM reset sequences. There seem to be 2 different types of RAM reset.

If you go into configurations with the machine working normally (none of the doors open) and clear RAM then the reels do the same sequence every time you clear the RAM in this way. However, if you open the doors and then go to config and clear RAM, then close doors, the reels do a different sequence compared to the first method of clear RAM.

I tried this with an early Golden Game program. With both clear RAM ways, the RAM reset reels are XXX

Arghhh feel into a chipped one on my travels once couldn’t give red features or wild thing. Disgusting really

The later chip blocked the gamble to Wild Thing most of the time. You had to gamble up to £5 or £6 and hope the exchange was on Wild Thing.

Man I loved dizzy!!!!! That egg and me went through some times!!! That and spellbound!!!

Fantasy World Dizzy and Magic Land Dizzy were great games. One of them you had to go up into the trees and find the hidden coins. These Code Masters games had better graphics on the 128k Spectrum.

  9. Noel says something like "I can't work you out" when you gamble against the number with extra life for the trap on £70 DONDs.

A rare one was on JPM Do You Feel Lucky when I got a huge red hot streak in an arcade. The bullets ran out and it said "PUT YOUR HANDS UP!!!" Never heard it say that before and I literally almost did put my hands up!

  10. I'm having a Mandela Effect about this. I actually thought he passed away a few years ago. The ZX Spectrum 48k and then the 128k were icons of my childhood.  Manic Miner was such a difficult game to complete. I think I got to something like screen 15 out of 20. It was The Warehouse that always tripped me up! Jet Set Willy had that bug where it would kill you as soon as you entered a room. Think it was above The Hallway.

  11. I don't know if any of you watched WCW Wrestling back in the 90s but some of the music they used for wrestler's ring entrances are actually the same sound tracks on our fruit machines. The most notable was a wrestler called Chris Benoit. His entrance music in WCW is called Replica which is the same tune used on JPM Hagar when you finished your credits and are about to collect your bank.
