  1. Design then Edit Mode and right click the blue higher button. Go to Properties and where it says Button Number type 73 in the box next to it. Then click apply at the bottom right.

Repeat with the other buttons. Blue Lower = 64  Red Higher = 72  Red Lower = 65  Yellow Higher = 68  Yellow Lower = 66

Me too, like many I attempted to be the first to ever complete it 😆 only to find out the 83rd item was both invisible and more importantly inaccessible.

A set of 'pokes' was brought out to fix this and some other issues later on, you can still look this up for more info on google.

The room above the Ballroom with the rabbits dancing kept killing me if I recall. Must have been a massive error in the program.

Incidentally - I really like playing 20p/25p £5 machines - normally a great value for money experience - and a lot of fun cos even worst features will pay £4-£5 regularly.

Used to have a 10p/20p/30p Red Arrow in a pub - was brilliant to play - and all the players rules applied.

Surprised they weren't more popular and seemed to be quite rare in the wild

There was one in an arcade in Jaywick of all places! They had quite a lot of decent machines back then.

I’d say fruit emu has a much larger archive of mfme layouts.  Lots are pre new mfme but I still often download the odd layout or two.  The search is better over there, (unless I’m doing something wrong here) though it doesn’t recognise 3 letter words, which is probably a search default to be fair.

Fruit emu does have the DX Layouts for Battle Axe and Fireball and others where the wheel actually spins. Found them in a thread on there.

I was in a bookies with a Cesars palace and a Arcadia..... was merrily battering the arcardia  having done the CP already and a tech came in....... Resets! the CP - then asks me if he can do the Arcadia!!

I was already about £70 and then these two beauts on reset........ nom nom nom.......

Jackpot on the line and number 12 off the top of my head.

This is much more likely on a reset.... Thats why arcades play machines in themselves - or definitely did back in the day.

JPMs were the best for factory resets. Found a few in pubs in the past. Best result was £95 profit on a Hi Roller.

don't know wat he did but it stopped everything when it came back on

Ok I just read your original post again and you said you put £50 in after he fixed it. I don't think he did a RAM reset because you would have got a repeat pot or a hold after nudge by the time you put £50 in.

You said you lost £180. So you put £130 in and it was holding after nudge. Then it stopped taking coins. After he fixed it you said you put £50 in. Wasn't there anything in the bank from hold after nudge tops when it stopped taking coins?

If there was nothing in the bank then it was obviously doing a crap hold after nudge run. Taking more back each time to hold again. It is possible it could really take the mick and not hold after nudge for £50. I actually had it take over £60 between hold after nudge before when it was obviously there. It does go away for no reason on the odd occasion.

Have you ever played the £15 chip on £25 Golden Games? When you get hold after nudge £15 top it can finish it and won't come back for at least another £60.

In the busy busy busy and sorely missed arcade days - Ive seen JP's left on line that  then hold...... Red hot Rolls with Jp's on the line... credit in and it goes Roll Em! Auto pay roller coaster - on fill up day - exactly £10 off full.... Odd... so watch the lights it seems to be impyling last win roller coaster....20p for a tenner... 20p for £9.60... 20p no repeat - RUDE! (I was tight in those days - didnt want to even waste the 20p unless i was sure...:):))

Had similar on Monopoly (Golden Game Clone) where somebody got a flash and it was their last credit. They collected out their £25 and walked away! I went on it and the top went on for a further £60. Never had anything like that since.

and I’ve often wondered on these modern machines you always appear to  need to ‘force’ the machine as in go for jackpot/mega streak like you do in mfme £100 in for a small £20 profit where as you could’ve simply taken a deal feature or standard feature £10 in for a £30 profit

The deal boards are generally more progressive on modern £100 machines. Mostly you won't get a Mega Deal until you build up the value by not taking any wins. The Mega Deal obviously gives you more chance of getting a larger amount. On some machines you have to fill up all the symbols next to the amounts which is the equivalent of Mega Deal and this activates the larger deal amounts. For example on Oliver Twist filling up all the treasure chests.

It is possible to Mega Deal after forcing for the Mega Streak and I have actually got £100 from the after deal. Generally people just force these modern machines for the chance of a £150 Mega Streak.

  10. RAM reset doesn't always fix Mech Note Error 15. Some roms require either switch 3 or 5 bottom row to be turned on which fixes the problem.

Another one for Scorpion 5 is the Security Error which occurs when you change different jackpot roms in the layout. The RAM reset will fix this.

Whichever way they did it it’s dodgy.  That feature to change them should never have been there in the first place.  I wonder if that’s still a thing.  Are there even reeL based clubbers released any more?

It was in recent years on a game called Jackpot King which is a £500 jackpot. There was one "dodgy" program where the player could set the cash pot amount after winning it.

Anyways roms first I won’t be able to test till weekend also a few wips need starting/ finishing

if I was making this layout/machine I’d personally leave that phone off to give more playing area to the dx

or have it as side art??

You're probably correct about not including the phone at the top to give more playing area to the layout. Side art would be the way for those who want the phone to be included.

i'm guessing they all play the same with different aesthetics? also i'd love to see party games but sadly it's not possible... :(

Yeah they do all play the same. The £35 is slightly different because of the second reels on 50p stake much like Grand Golden Game.

What about the 3 player one with the 10p stashes at the top which would drop if you got chance or community chest? Are they emulated?

Yes, it's been emulated along with the £5 rebuild version.

I know this one below hasn't yet been emulated though :-

Well I know from experience you are quite the ROM guru, and you are probably right - just a case of mislabelled ROMs. Should be a nice easy classic for someone, and I'm sure we have a flyer or two for it so a flyer DX would also be pretty easy :)

Actually those roms for the machines in the pics are under Deal Or No Deal Casino. There does seem to be roms for a few different machines under Deal Or No Deal Club, including those Adder 5 Deal Or No Deal digital roms.

I sorted through Mazooma Golden Games and Monopoly roms and found some roms for Casino Monopoly which is the 3 player £35 jackpot version like Grand Golden Game. That hasn't been emulated yet either.
