If I do a bulb test between the the psu live and laptop earth no bulb lights up.
Bear in mind the laptop powers the laptop and the psu powers the coin mech and hoppers. The coin mech still works.

@cja272laptop PSU and separate old pc PSU, I have cut in to a usb wire for the earth like No1 said, gonna test it now

To add I attached a spare side light bulb from a car to the psu and is lighting the bulb up for the wires connected to the hopper

Any suggestions on this? Wired up a hopper as per @No1Stoney instructions (which has worked twice before on previous machines) and nothing is happening. @Reg.
IN the winipac setting I have set it to [ on 2START and plugged it in to 16 on the ipac.
Underneath the hopper is a little jumper plug I have tried this in various positions to no avail. How can I tell if the hopper is getting power as I can't see anything lit up?
I have double checked everything, the hoppers are azkoyen universal 12v.
help!

Just awaiting hoppers to arrive then it's done and I'll do a video.

You can use a MARS ME126 OR ME129 as well, I have a diagram for that (2 less wires).

Also 5v led bulbs and not 12v that's probably in them

I'd be interested if these work too as I'm getting close to buying 2. Obviously we'll need a wiring diagram also.

Hmm just came across an issue! Blacklisted layout, darn it, really wanted Big 7 to play on my home build. Without starting World War 3 is there a way to make a blacklisted layout work on V20 of the emu?

Yes they do. There are also Suzo's cube hopper and Coin control's universal hopper that will also work in these builds. all have to be parallel versions.
Are the Suzo ones the same wire diagram as the Azkoyen?

@Psycon Yeah, I had them in a previous home build, they where £45 each then, last time I checked they're £63 each!!

@Reg I wonder... Remember them old bar top slots you could play? If I recall they had a lot in Spanish Bars years ago (25/30 years ago), that type of cabinet I reckon I could cram all this in to.

Sorted some coin routing out today, next step will be hoppers. Anyone know of any cheap ones that work?
