MARS ME126, Wiring Diagram (Pac-Drive)
Road Hog Mad replied to Road Hog Mad's topic in Cabinet Building
Anyone? -
As per the title, does anyone have a wiring diagram for a MARS ME126 to wire up to a Pac Drive? I am currently using a Cashflow 126dfx but want to change to a ME126. The current diagram I have (attached) is for a Cashflow 126dfx, if anyone can provide something similar?

Good game that, with the lucky hold, still play that in the arcade when I visit. Never had the lucky hold but have seen it go for 100+ on a 20p £10 machine.

MFME - PayPal warning and Keeping the Flame Alive

My response was mearly answering a question with a bit of speculation thrown in, we all want the best outcome, we all feel for the loss of Chris and the sadness his family feels. I can't obide programming it irratates me as much as the X, my stance is clear.. I enjoy what was given to me for free, I won't hack it or attempt to do anything with it and will continue to enjoy the FME scene, its been quite interesting over the last 20 years! More so than Brookside, and I liked that. They do that doh don't deh -

No disrespect intended, just some research in relation to Danno's original question and some possible outcomes/solutions etc. -

Yeah so assuming you had a copy of the leaked emulator, you could use Delphi to start it up again but only from its current state (whatever state it was in at the time of the current leak), one bonus is you wouldn't be starting from scratch but on the other hand you'd be using stolen code. So on that note that's it from me despite me and others probably wanting progression of the emulator.. Good night. -

REMOVED BY @Reg. The last line was absolutely not in the spirit of things whatsoever. -

The debug symbols have been stripped, in other words he didn't want anyone else developing their own version of it (best you can do is reverse engineer it) I've checked version 20 and 5.1. Maybe the original mpu3/4 emulator which I can't find a copy of may shed some light. Overall it looks like it was written in Delphi which is like VB but the language is Pascal. -

My mates a programmer and because I don't understand what he has told me he gets rather snappy. I'm a bus driver by trade (if you can it a trade?! more like a chav chauffeur) and I don't get snappy when he asks me questions about buses. Maybe its just programmers dunno. -

I was wondering to myself when I had heard the news what the next stage(s) would be, yes there is a lot of work to be done by us to keep us busy, obtaining resources, releasing new machines, re-releasing machines (with better art work) etc. As far as updates go for MFME what would happen? It can't just stay as it is can it? Or it will it just fade away? Someone will have to take over the project, in ten years time it will probably emulate them new type of pub slot machines and later operating systems etc. Loads to consider but the main thing on my mind now is that we should have some form of donation to his family as a mark of respect for his work that he did. -
There's always ways you can improve it, that's the way I am (just added LED's and some payout/coin entry lights £10 all in). I've gotten the bug of wanting to build another (please go away bug!).

A bit miffed? I know someone who questioned why I had put it in that type of cabinet, my response was I could put it in a biscuit tin if I chose. -

I mean to do a little documentary on it but I don't like the sound of my own voice (the wife doesn't either) -

Next will be to install a 60GB SSD off eBay I got cheap to speed things up a little, Viz is a tad slow even on this i5 with 8GB ram. -

Video, doh! https://youtu.be/64yeNf-y3VA -
Not bad for a fiver off ebay... They auto come on as red and I have remote control to change the colour if I so wish. And a little video showing my newish buttons I added... And a few pics of the inside, I want to make another and would certainly tidy them wires up but using this type of cabinet its a tight squeeze.

Another Build, with a few questions

Yeah a wire diagram would be great for the ME126! -
Never expected this, again, like others I was speaking to him last month on messenger. Suggestion, a fund page to send to his family so we can all donate seeing as he cured our addictions and kept families together. Maybe Harvey or Reg could set this up with a close tie?

I did many moons ago, dunno where they went though. Thank you for the link.

When you've grown out of those video games, how about a Retro ENGLISH Car?
