Hello, is there a way to get these P1/V1 roms onto a physical chip for the actual machine itself? Happy to donate if possible.

Greetings! Yes ive been around in the past on various boards just very much for a few yrs.... hope alls well, i really should start posting on boards again.

Of course it is.  I have a burner but no eraser at the minute, not sure how JP is fixed.  But I assume others have these facilities as well.

OK thank you, just let me know what I need to do to assist.

You’d need to source 2 EPROMs, I believe they are 27C4001 type chips.

I might be able to get them, I’ll take a look.

Gine me a day or so to get back to you.

My main issue is I don’t have an eraser, handy in case I don’t get a good burn first time.

Also worth asking is what version are you running?  It might be that you’d need a different security chip, I’m not too sure.  But we can find it a go.

I do have an eraser and burner here (no chips though)  

I have pic chips, I have a huge bag of them for scorpion 5 £70 software. I can give Lee (steelfix) this.

Thanks mate, if you want, you could send me the burnt roms, provided you have a couple of blank chips. @steelfix1 did say to me he's happy to pay what is needed.

I need to go in the loft to dig those pic chips out. I know I got a ton of them somewhere

Thanks to the people involved with this I really do appreciate it. I'm an 80's player of them until the present day however my running of the work you guys do behind the scenes is limited to downloading the emulator and roms clicking the slot and pressing start.

@spa Pay whats needed-ish  Message me whats appropriate if I need to donate to the board, the lads or yourself when I call down yours or before as I'm not to familiar with the board.

@thealteredemu I could bring my ROM eraser when we reschedule our visit, if it turns out you need one to burn the chips

When JP comes to my house, maybe couple weeks time, he’ll bring his eraser and we can get the EPROMs burnt.

@steelfix1  Could you confirm the version of software required mate

Yes its the P1/V1 DOND Perfect Deal roms/chip for £70jp software on a Scop 5. Its currently on a £100 I want to change it to its orginal jackpot with the orginal first roms out.

Yes V1.00, sometimes I refer to as P1 which just means the same... 

Yes, the roms in the layout are the p1. I have these in my machine too

If I had thought about it, would could have met up, there's a meet at Paul Neweys, he has an awesome classic collection, he's opening his doors on the 14th September.

Its years since I've been there, great idea and would have been ideal but i'm away  Pity its not the weekend after when I plan to come down, still go and have a machine sesh if you like for 3 hrs or so but it'll defo be the 20th but prob 21st...I do have 22nd or 23rd free too however that'll depends if you're working.
