superspin555
Hi Everyone, I recently joined (though I remember being a member of this site and the other big emu site way back in my twenties) so I expect alot has changed since then. I was wondering if anyone knew of a post or content piece that is like a top down view / summary of the fruit machine emulation industry (a kind of lay of the land) that I could read. Like a summary of key dates / key mile stones and also would like to understand a little more on how this ties to modern legislation - have seen no over 18s on here which is commendable, though I just wanna learn more about how this all sits with real world UK gambling regs, especially with the rise of modern online casino slots etc. And as part of that, what are the copyright limitations for emulators with some of the original fruit machine manufacturers being out of business. Do the creators have like a creative commons licence or similar? Curious as I saw this the other day and was wondering https://flashmuseum.org/psycho-cash-beast/ Then lastly, any info on programming languages like the above link says 'flash' but are modern emulators made with Javascript, be good to get a handle on that side.- Any links to info or comments most appreciated - Many thanks, (image of Empire one of my favourite looking machines absolutely love the artwork on this and the way it plays - will have to try the emulator if there is one) Cheers!
