  1. Hi all! I just wanted to say a huge great 1 big thanks to all! I have made so many online friends here. So first to the late, great, Chris J Wren Wizard RIP for the emulator, Reg for starting the sight, all donaters and friends, layout creaters, Chopaholic, cheerful pecimist, whatwhat what and on a bucket for youtube emulation vids, infection for ROM and looking for awktions for roms/machines on ebay, anyone else? OH yeah, steve lansett and chris217's youtube  channels, well, the whole lot of you! Just one big thanks! The amount of machines that have now been emulated, from the old MPU2's to the whole way upwards to the £500 randomers. again, ONE! BIG! THANK YOU!

  2. Hi, nice to welcome you here. Best emulator for these types of machines is V5.1 to 20.1, there's a lot of sru and MPU2/3 layouts around either in the layouts downloads or the legasy downloads. Have fun and enjoy! :)

  3. I load into V20 and get the same error. I believe it's the same error. In V5, as I use a screen reader, the voice reads out "ROM file not found" and I press enter about 10 times with the same error. "ROM file not found". After that, it's just the main MFME window. In V20 the error mesages don't read out. I'm pressing enter about the same times. I went to my c:\MFME\V20 crystal maze, now featuring ocean zone! directory, only things there is the flm, gam and a vid.p1 file. One of my other crystal mazes have cry.p1 to cry.p9, and a crys.p1 file, the other one has a more complex rom list, that one is the team challenge. So there is no ROMs what so ever in the ocean zone one, and I've checked my defender settings and it's not scanning those counting them as viruses. Unless when it was actually released it was mute? I can't remember that far back lol. I only remember the crystal maze swp itself being released. Thanks for your help though.

  4. Aaah! It's such a shame about you Chris, may you forever lay here to rest. I always remember the days in 1994 upwards when I have seen the seaside arcades, played on road hog and other fruit machines and thought, oh boy! Would I like to have these in my room one day. A whole arcade in my house! Oh yes please! However, this did not come true until late 2009 2010. I discovered these fruit machine emulators from MFME V1 straight up to the wonderful V20.1 which I play to this day. I knew the hard work that was put into this, not only getting the default sounds, screen layouts but also the machines to work properly. I found road hog in the downloads, ran it in MFME, and it made the exact sounds of the real machine, and I thought, wow! A portable arcade! Ain't that neat? And the answer is a bit fat YES thanks to you! Now I can play for free all the games I used to, plus ones I still play to this day like lowtech electrocoins. Chris, may you rest in peace. From your friend of MFME, Thomas Grant, AKA I have Finished.

  5. Hi, can someone help me with a legasy layout I want to get working? I have some older MFME's for these layouts. I would like the crystal maze now featuring the ocean zone! roms, as the only files inside the legasy layout is the vid file and the required layout files and the gam file. Which roms do I need for this machine because I'm getting a rom file not found in V5 etc. However it's not telling me which roms are not found though. If someone has these roms, please PM me about this because I would like to get this working. I have team challenge and the other crystal maze swp's going, just this one.
