I'm going to go for the easy option and will say Ocean. Well, they did make Daley Thompson's Decathlon, Match Day, Head Over Heels and my fav The Great Escape.

Nope not that one. If I had to date it I'd say 78-79.
I was trying to find a football game I played in the arcades during the 80s if I was to date that I would say between 84-85-86. I have tried searching all over the internet for it to no avail. All I know is: it wasn't that bloody sit down World Cup one where you would control the players using the ball tracker thingy. I've given up now!
My favourite would be Super Sprint. After school when it was light nights a few of us would cycle down to the arcades and play a 4 player game. -
The rarest game I own is a pal version of Mario Superstar Baseball for the GameCube. I think it's selling for about £80 now on Amazon.

Any one else use the Azimuth screw to get stubborn tapes to work ,
Yes, me! I knackered my Spectrum +2's built-in cassette recorder by over doing it.

I wanted the ZX Spectrum because nearly everyone in my year at school had one and I knew I'd get a good supply of games for it. On the back cover of some original Speccy games it would show you screenshots of the game using C64 graphics. The sly gets!

An excellent idea Reg! It's always a pleasure to take a trip down retro memory lane.

Ah, the good old Speccy!
My mate had the 48k version with the rubber keys, I was forever at his house playing the games with him as I never had my own at the time. I always wanted to play the football games like: Footballer Of The Year, Match Day, World Cup Football. The poor lad hated football, so I must've been a bloody nuisance to him, looking back now.
Then one Christmas I got the +2 128k version with the built-in cassette recorder. The cassette recorder kept breaking on it, so I was always having to take the speccy into the repair shop. Some of my favourite games were Trashman, Jetpac, The Great Escape, Chuckie Egg, Skool Daze & Back to Skool and Football Manager 2. I remember Turbo Esprit well, Reg. I used to play that game for hours.
To this day, that Spectrum was the best Christmas present I've ever had!
The ZX Spectrum was better then C64
