I tried that but on my keyboard it just muted the sound and back again. I'll try some other options.
You have to hold down fn AND then F1 together for it to work without the fn (function button) being pressed it will just lower volume

I've just tried it and it hasn't worked
If you have resized them they will have green showing. To check this go to Window tab and select original size on each? Then align them up. Or simply redownload it and hopefully be okay.

Hi, I loaded the £8 version but it had a green outline for top box and 3 machines. Is there a setting that needs changing?
Hey, Press alt & F1 for each machine it will hide the green background on them

Thanks for this one. Not sure if anyone else had the issue but number 2 didn't load, so I manually loaded it and then linked them all again. Worked fine after that.
Sometimes comms do drop off occasionally - fingers crossed was a blip!

Thanks for this.
It worked wonderfully the first time I opened it. It also looks great.
However, when I try and open it again the top box shows but it is surrounded by a big bright green background and none of the slave units are visible and I can't seem to get them to show even though they appear in my task bar.
Any thoughts on what I might be doing wrong would be most welcome.
SHmm it has been doing that to me lately too. Nothing you're doing wrong. Next time you load it go do control alt del and get windows tasks up and select each slave and click maximise. Once done each one will fill screen up. Then in each slave go to window tap and click original size then move into place. The green or blue back ground press f1 it should then go.

Thanks for this one. Would it be possible to have a higher resolution in any future projects, as my laptop has a 1080p screen?
This is as high a resolution I can go to for multiplayers atm on the PC I have for now. If anything changes of course will do

Thank you, @itspartytime that looks amazing!
In your post you mentioned if anyone had a machine they'd like to see, so my wish would be a 4 player version of Vivid's Adders and Ladders as in this YouTube video. That would be awesome! Especially if the huge game board was made as large as possible.
I know someone has semi DX'd a single player version of it - the top feature was DX but the base machine was in the style of a classic.
Cheers,
Gary.
I only have Astra knowledge on here. But that would be pretty awesome not gonna lie

Nice idea but it just doesn't work. It's like trying to play a machine that is 20 feet away. In a virtual reality world where you could walk up to it, it would be great.
Sorry and thank you for putting so much work in.
Cant please everyone! lol, But you can always enlarge them to make them bigger. I steered away making them too large as many users complained it slowed PCs down too much or could not play on laptops

Yes although they were a bit small for my laptop screen.
These fill up a huge chunk of my pc screen
Have you tried the tab under window to reset to original size?

It's okay, I just thought I'd put the instructions on as we have some new members who may not know how to link them.
Thank you so much - I have added that on (hope thats ok

UPDATE: I got it working. Open 4 x windows and open each of them the Main one, the game 1, 2 and 3 then making sure no menus are shown, Press Alt and L to link them all then press Ctrl + R to restart them all and they should play okay
I tried to run this by loading the top box but it didn't automatically load the others? Please can you help on what to do to get it working? I tried loading the individual screens separately but still couldn't get it to work?
Thanks in advance
Yeah I closed it into that file the correct way so when click on Master Top it should all unfold correctly, occasionally it does this apologies!

Thank you for this. I was just wondering if it's possible to have a release where the machines are larger in size?
Yeah reason for small layouts are because so many people use laptops or PCs with low spec, and they can freeze/crash or no sync up in multiplayers. Hence single machines I tend to do them larger, and do the Multiplayers smaller to both fit on a screen comfortably and run smoothly

It'd be rude not to download, rare Party Time Clone. Jackpot Bros still has one somewhere on the South Wales coast.
Aw thanks, yes I had this in my games room. It went to Mr Ps in Kent I think, its in storage at his presently. Was thrilled when someone kindly sent me the rom files

I wonder if a dipswitch needs setting in order to enable autoplay?
I've never known dip switches to do that lol. Dil 5 usually converts the note acceptor to 'on', which would then enable that special note button as seen in layout that my machine used back then, but obvs doesnt work in MFME, but I wonder if its just one of those things that we will have to live with for now lol

I found that some buttons do a swap for notes, £5, £10, £20 and one did £40.... I got to about 256 and still couldn't find it.... I thought I'd try other ones and one was 55 but number 55 doesn't do anything on this one.... Sigh....
Yeah it's.. an odd one eh LOL

Have you clicked the top box first - before doing the shortcut? Or failing that on the top box click on Windows tab > borderless > Normal that will do it
