  1. Just for your info:

On Firefox, some of the Flash players simply don’t appear. On the ones that do e.g. Neon Biker, the score is not submitted.

On Chrome, the flash player is blocked by default. Upon enabling it, I can run games like Bike Mania, however, games like Neon Biker still do not submit a score.

  2. I was playing "Neon Biker" in the Arcade section of the site... I clicked "submit" to submit my score, but it just takes me back to the homepage, and no score is registered with the site. Also, games like Bike Mania don't seen to be showing up for me at all. Am I doing something wrong? :D

The quote “beer tokens “ many a happy nights beer bought with machine tokens

£6 bought about 4-5 pints in early 90’s

so if you streaked a Andy Capp then £36 happy days or weekend

Man, none of the pubs around here ever did anything like that - wish they had! :D

Ahh, remember the days of tokens... win em in the pub and then trying to "convert them into cash"... luckily the pub would accept tokens to buy drinks and snacks with, so i'd get lots of chocolate and crisps with me drinks...

They accepted tokens for drinks and snacks? I think that must have been a pretty rare thing, never heard of anywhere doing that before :D

  5. Thanks guys, very interesting info there :D

Another aspect I wondered about… was it possible to “ruin” a payout as it was happening? Say, for example, you got holds on a jackpot (often indicating you were going to be on a winning streak and the machine would be paying out)… if you accidently only held 2 reels, could that cancel the payout? Or, another rumour was, if you didn’t have enough cash in the machine as it was starting to pay out, and you had to collect, that could ruin it?

Since you donated go into the Legacy section above there are a fair few others including one from @hitthesix(One of our great layout creators).

Check it out and if you get stuck let me know.

Awesome man, thanks! :D What I did was, I downloaded MFME v19 and was able to play the Hit the Six! :D

Something cool about it is, the "2" jackpots actually work the way they should on this version. Years ago I had a version of Hit the Six which was quite fun, but for some reason the "2" didn't behave like it should. I guess most things improve over time.

Something I always used to wonder about Hit the Six... people always used to be paranoid that it was possible to "mess up" a payout. For example, if you got a jackpot to hold... but accidently only held 2 reels... was that enough to stop the payout from happening? Or like, another thing people used to say was "make sure you have plenty of cash in the machine as it starts to pay out". It seemed people thought that if you had to collect the cash midway through payout, it would stop the payout being on the "roll". Any truth to anything like that? Was it indeed possible to stop a payout getting up to around £30 if you did something to mess it up as it was happening?

  7. I had a search for "Hit the Six" but cannot find anything about it. I had an old DX layout for a very old version of MFME, but it won't load into the new v20 MFME (dat not supported?)
Does an updated version of Hit the Six exist? Thanks! :D

    EDIT: I found this:

However, when I load it into MFME v20 it says "blacklisted layout"? Any ideas?
