  1. Ordered a payout tray just now from swallow amusements, still can't find any hoppers though!!
  2. @Boulderdash lol, I needed a knob for the door, so yeah it one of B&M's finest. Here it is wall mounted in my cave under the stairs...
  3. Getting there, tidied the wires up, and installed the software which needs tweaking a little as it was for landscape and not portrait mode. Next will be the hoppers and payout tray when I come across any.
  4. Try again, it's unlisted now rather than private.
  5. Anyway, enough of that, back to the build... Up and running sort of! https://youtube.com/shorts/iz4yZbdxmEc?feature=share
  6. If anyone wants to contribute some Richard Brian sticker to the project you are more than welcome, you'll have your own unique mark on a home build.
  7. And for those who lost a crystal in the maze ... Turned the crud power on off/usb thing in to something a bit fancier. Holes are for the fans.
  8. Bit of chrome surround to hide my crud cutting out and a little more progress inside.
  9. Yeah like that but with an Oldham twang. I could just subtitle it, couldn't I? I've got 2 large cooling fans so will probably put them in after. One lower than the other so it gets good air flow, also the motherboard has spacers which probably can't be seen. I've ordered some chrome sticky stuff off flebay too (to finish it off nicely) so I'll put that around the monitor when painted as I was pissed whilst using the jigsaw.
  10. I'll do a video when it's all done but it'll be muted as I sound odd. Scouse, Wooly Back Oldhamer.
  11. A little more process this afternoon Installing some wires etc. A redundant i3 8gb motherboard, already have a 128gb ssd hard drive and 2gb low profile graphics card, did a quick power up and it booted to dos so it looms like it's good.
  12. @dondplayer no, 1982 lol. @woodsy it's looks a little rough at the moment but gimme some time lol, problem is its time consuming plus I need not to drink when using the jigsaw haha. @foiltravis Thank you
  13. @foiltravis So now you can see... the monitor will sit in the door like this... I decided to put the coin mechs down below which will go direct in to the hopper with a cut out in the door for the coins to spit out in to the payout tray. That's enough for tonight. @Reg
  14. Or impossible lol. I think it can be done. I've altered my original design, a lot of stuff will mounted on the front including the hoppers and coin mechs. It will also be a front opener. Gonna see if I can get a but of cutting done this evening and will of course upload some pics. Edit. Picked up some wood from b&q last night and they kindly cut it fir me. £33 a sheet of wood and nails.
  15. 'Always off' as if you use hoppers later on they'll spit all of their coins out.
  16. Thank you! If I blow myself up I'll be doing myself a favour lol.
  17. Hi, I just a little help understanding a microswitch. It has, C, NO, NC wrote on the microswitch and this description came with it "just take the coin signal wire from your appliance and connect to the NO (Normally Open) microswitch terminal on the back of the mech. Connect the ground wire to the CO (Common Ground) terminal on the microswitch and that's it!" Forgive me for being dumb, but am I write to say that 'NO' goes to the I-PAC for example '1UP' and the 'CO' goes to 'GND' on the I-PAC? Thanks
  18. Are you referring to the bar top one? I had a few issues getting things to work as I believe you have to use a common ground for some of the wiring and laptops don't have one. It's a good concept yeah, but fecking fiddly! Plus... the laptop kept screwing up (I think it had bad memory or something, I had to keep re-formatting and loading windows as it got stuck in a boot loop). I prefer the PC way to do things
  19. Note. This will also help with any crud jigsaw cutting out as you can seal around the edges with silicone and when painted it will look neat!
