I do know a fair bit about it and the development platform it was done on

Just out of interest what was the development program called please?

With regard to MFME in the future there is probably loads in V20 to keep us going for years, any bugs well we will just have to figure out workarounds. If you look at the number of techs it supports and the fact that Chris new them inside out, that would be a huge undertaking for somebody to pick up and take forward. Big boots to fill for sure.

I've got it going on the electrical mech Hot Dog.
The thing is I've used Cheat Engine's speedhack so a spin/cycle is 1 second, or 10p a second.
I've deliberately left out the 'hot dog feature' so it will it stop when it comes up.
Up to £162 in at the at the mo at 45%, may leave it running when I'm out tomorrow.

Be interested to the outcome of this on an Electro

  3. Chris gave me a copy of v19.9 before it was released, in fact i think it went on to be v20 before he actually released it. It was at the the time I was doing Pool Play (Electro) and had found some bugs in the current version.

For a tech that nobody seemed to bother with he fixed the bugs and incorporated a whole raft of other improvements to the EM Editor. Sure we had some arguments about how some manufactures in the real world switched the 0v, often being a little sulky and refusing to believe me but next day the bugs were fixed and all was good. He could at times be a little short with you but deep down took on board what you had said. He cared and was passionate about what he did, and it had to be right.

I asked him lots of times for a peek into the source code so that I could have a nose around to see how he actually achieved what he did with the EM side but that request was always firmly ignored.

  4. Completely lost for words,

Most of us I think have barely scratched the surface on what lies within MFME and the work and dedication that went into it. I know for me it will give me years of pleasure tinkering around inside, the Electro Emulation side was the work of a pure genius defying all those that said it could never be done.

Who can I bug now when I am stuck, well I have a feeling you will be there in spirit with a sign when I need it.

    Thank you Chris and RIP.
