I'm not sure what the dips do, I imagine there is a manual for a similar ACE Coin machine kicking about somewhere and it would shed some light on the various settings.  Though I'm fairly confident one might be higher token wins, can't be certain, but we must have a user manual for one of these slots, someone will have one.

    Hi,

I've got a Twilight Zone manual and have attached the DIP settings below. The percentages can be changed,

and also the % token payout can be changed from high to low as well. Sorry about the state of the page, looks like the engineer poured coffee all over it at some point! :D

Reading this thread with interest, would be great to see some of your work come to fruition guys, hope this helps anyway.

  2. Interesting thoughts, and thanks for bringing this up Harvey. :)

I will mention the key points to the family at an appropriate time and gauge a response. Things are obviously still very raw for them but I will do all I can to get answers from them on all the points above. Please be patient though, this won't be resolved in the next 24 hours.

I'll post any answers that I get on this thread if that's ok.

  3. Hi chaps,

Maybe some of you well-educated gents could point me in the right direction? I'm looking for a layout of Barcrest's Gold Rush (you know, the one with red and gold cherries as well as blue and gold bars) there was also a symbol on the middle reel that gave one of four "gold" features.

I've seen there is a 30p/£25 DX (by Vampuk I believe) but it has that "showtime" feature on the top. The version i remember playing was 25p/£15 but no showtime feature. Does anyone know if this is available anywhere? I've looked but no luck so far. Any help much appreciated.  :)

    Thanks

  4. Good thing Chris moving the MFME-related stuff over here IMO. The Mecca will always be my home but it is definitely less emulation and more repair/collection related.

Hopefully by moving MFME here it will encourage people to donate to this site and keep it going for a long time to come. Also hosting the fabulous DXcellent site.

    :)
