  1. On some Scorpion 5 and the newly released the Magic 10 Project layouts, I get a delay on the reel spinning. It seems to freeze and then clumsily spins the reels. I initially thought it was possible that the inbuilt graphics on my home PC was to blame, so I recently purchased a decent second hand graphics card. It hasn't helped.

The PC is far from new, but was a reasonable spec when I built it 5 years ago. It has an i7-7700K 4.2GHz processor and I have added a GeForce GTX 10606 GB graphics card.

The ram is a bit low at 16GB and I have more I can add if anyone thinks this is the issue. It's on Windows 10 and has almost no other programs running in the background.

I thought it may be a common issue but I cannot find a thread relating to reel delays.

    Can anyone shed any light?

  2. Yes, Alex's videos are very good and easy to follow. I highly recommend them.

An avid addict of fruit machines and other forms of gambling when I was younger, the idea of emptiers was bloody exciting. I spent thousands of pounds trying to make money on the emptiers over the years, well after being chipped out.

I never heard of a profitable emptier while it was 'in the wild'. It's great to have the chance to play them on the emu and see what could have been - which is that unless you were unemployed and had nothing better to do, or was in the right place at the right time, they would never be worth the time you needed to put in, other than not to lose your wage packet. But still...

    Thank you Alex!

    Miami Dice Emptier......

    This was great fun thanks.

Thought I'd start at the start on this thread as I was always obsessed with emptiers.

This one we used to play in a pub, on the way into town when I was 17-20. May have been on a £6 JP back then but as a college student knowing the emptier would have been great. £20 was what we took for a weekend night out and anything we won on the bandits was a bonus.

Had to watch the first 20-30 mins of the video twice as the instructions were not clear, but on my second go I nailed it by taking £80 in tokens and £100 in cash in under an hour. There was no point in carrying on as I always had fruities at home and dabbled in the industry later on. The old single solenoid pay-out mechs held about £80 in tokens, £60-£80 in pound coins and £30-£40 in 20p's. If it had a double £1 mech it may have held more, but I never had this machine. And machines were never full back then - landlords used to give you the money over the bar back then if a machine emptied.

Shall have another few goes and move on to the next machine.
