You probably could put a laptop in there and it would work. But there is an element of; you need to do a bit of research and work yourself lol (without sounding/being funny).

I originally bought an old quiz machine for my cabinet which was around £80, I stripped it all out and put my own pc in. The quiz machine touch screen was fine, they're about £100 second hand still. I've recently stripped it all out and put it in a new cab, here is a price of what I paid when it was in the quiz machine cab... Quiz machine cab £80 (can be more now) + Petrol to pick it up. (I used the PSU out of that to power the hoppers and coin mech (recycle where you can). Second hand i5, 8gb computer tower off ebay £50 60GB SSD £15 ish Basic Graphics card £25 ish IPAC & PAC DRIVE £60 ish X2 Hoppers Azkoyen £90 (cheaper ones can be used) Mars ME126 coin mech programmed by BF74 from the Mecca. £30 and £30 in tokens. Misc £30. With regards to the IPAC's etc. my anal mate reckons he can make his own IPAC's for 1/4 of the price and fool MFME in to thinking its an IPAC, we'll see (be a lot cheaper). I was playing Crazy Fruits on my home build last night, I collected 60p and the end of my credits and it emptied my entire 20p hopper lol. Is there something wrong with the settings on this? I recall Who Wants To Be A Legionnaire doing it and Wizard told me the fix, I can't remember what that was though!

So... got the majority of them how I want them, a lot I can live with. Note to future layout creators, make them 1600 @Tommy cLayouts fit perfectly on my machine. The ones I have struggled with are the M1A madness ones, can't seem to get them right. Did anyone else make there own version of these?

Yeah was having a tinker before, will have a look tomorrow, the 1600dx ones are great!

I can't see a crop out the side art option

I've gone to design mode but I don't know what I'm looking for.

I was just wondering if we have a BIG Size Layout Section, now i've built my home build some of the layouts that were ok in landscape mode are rather crud in portrait mode (see attachments) Or is there some tweaking I can do to my screen, I dunno.

Speaking with my mate who's very Anal, about my home build, he's interested in the workings (he doesn't play slots or even know how to play them). I told him about the cost of the boards, especially the i-pac, I think it works out at £42 inc postage for a new one (just had to buy another one myself as I blew it). He is under the impression he can make them himself for around £25 (which is not a bad saving) and fool the emulator in to thinking it is a i-pac attached to it. So it maybe possible to get the hardware for around half price, building these home builds is a little pricey. I'll report back with further development's.

Ignore, finanly sroted it

This is driving me bonkers, 2 hours this morning I have spent on it. The coin mech is wired/powered up as before and is working on the current routing setup, but I want the coins to go a different way as the coin mech sits differently in this home built cab. Can I get it to work? No! This mech only accepts, £1, 20p and tokens (I have attached an image of the coin mech and routing plug and where I want the coins to go, maybe someone can mspaint a draw line on the correct routing routing for this mech as I have tried every possibility). I seemed to have sussed out 20p's. Thank you.

It's missing an illuminated fruit machine logo! Any suggestions?
