Ok, so picture the scene, its Sunday afternoon, you've just had your Sunday roast and maybe a pudding if you were lucky and have settled down in front of the telly. You put on ITV (notice how I didn't say ITV1 as we only had 3 channels back then) and sit back to watch...
Absolutely awesome memories! (I love the funky bass guitar in this tune)

Did Anyone ever watch either of these shows? I was really interested in UFO's as a kid so these shows were right up my street.

Thinking back to the good old days, what games in particular did you used to play that had awesome game music. My all time stand out was the last ninja level 1 even though I guess when last ninja 2 and 3 came out you could argue they were pushing the boundaries of the SID chip further.
I must add that although the Spectrum 48 was limited with its sound there could be some pretty amazing tunes done with it.

Classic British wrestling! Here's a match between Les Kellett and Leon Arris (who the eagle eyed of you will recognise as the film and tv actor Brian Glover

I remember this episode. The hitchhiker in the yellow rain gear with the claw nail on his finger started it all off!

Speaking of Horror Pook, did you watch this as a kid and then end up not being able to sleep like me?

My all time favourite Amiga music was the high score tune from Pinball fantasies Stones and Bones. It's the first tune on this YouTube vid.

I used to have an A600, I would spend hours and hours playing games on it. Some of my favourites were Pinball dreams/fantasies. World championship boxing manager. Championship manager. Any fruit machine games, there used to be a public domain games creator who made some great fruit machines. I remember one was based on a £4.80 jackpot low tech and involved travelling round the world, I cannot remember the games name unfortunately of the creator but they had great music too. Speaking of music who loaded up games just to listen to some game music? One of the best game intro tunes was this in my opinion...

I remember a game called Space Trek that I used to love playing. ASO (armoured scrum object) was another. I remember completing green beret (rush and attack) twice in all the times I played it, it got quite tough in the final stages. Slapfight was another I enjoyed but was hopeless at it the same as Terra Cresta, loved the game music on that one. One game I was good at was Snow Bros. I got to stage 50 once (final stage) but didn't beat the boss, I was gutted, I had a crowd round me in the arcade watching, I was under pressure hahaha. Another game I used to like for thew music was Commando. I'll try to think of some more great arcade games I used to love.

Wow...where to begin with classic TV shows.
Well when I was young the shows I loved to watch were...
Knightrider
The A-Team
Streethawk
Airwolf
The littlest Hobo
Life and Times of Grizzly Adams
The Incredible Hulk
CHiPS
Star Fleet (I always loved it when they built the robot out of the 3 spaceships, and Lolled so hard when they punched the evil leader in the face with it!)
The Equalizer
Buck Rogers in the 25th Century
Battlestar Galactica
The six million dollar man
The list could go on and on but these are a few of the shows I loved back in the day when TV wasn't full of crap reality shows or "talent" shows.

I had a Speccy and a Commodore 64. I remember the first time I saw a C64 at my mates house and he loaded up Rambo. When that loading music started playing I was gobsmacked but it was many years afterwards before I owned one myself which is a funny story in itself. I bought a second hand one from a bloke at work and when I got it home I thought I would give it a quick test while my bath is running. BIG MISTAKE!! I loaded Last ninja and about 45 minutes later my mum was screaming up the stairs that there was water pouring out of the kitchen light fitting.
