Just a quick question, i watched a few videos recently of mfme layouts being played on youtube and the owner of the channel did not make any reference to the layout designer or to wizard for making the mfme or anybody else that would be relevant AND i had to endure numerous adverts in the video which i know earn money for the channel owner, surely this is not permitted or am i wrong, if i am wrong just ignore me but if this is against the rules i will happily provide the channel name(call me a grass i dont give a sh*t)

I can see where you are coming from, but I'd be shocked if they are making any real money from it. Any that they are making will probably barely cover the costs of their production so as above, if it leads to more people seeking it out, and I'd say it's fair enough.

Now, if they were directing people to 'buy' the games, that would be another matter :)

I actually love that point but in retrospect someone like Pook aka Dxcellent doesn't talk on his videos besides he won't count anyway for a number of reasons so leave that where it is.

Myself and Degsy aka Chopaholic mentions all the time but i have a quick few vids that have no relevance in speaking as under the circumstances it wasn't warranted or my Mic was taking the piss.

Personally I would lay it on the table and if you feel that strongly about it but just remember that there are also respected members that have been here years that have been doing things their way and others who know them allow it because they really don't mind.

I believe he means ads on the YT channel which we all get anyway and it is possible to earn money off your channel. I have mentioned this before that if I ever did off my OWN channel some of the funds would have to be spread through Dads, DIF and the Mecca as they have ALL played a part in my videos.

I doubt it would get that far though and maybe you should take this up with @Chopaholic @alex howard as he will possibly know more.

I remember watching a youtuber show how much money they earned from their videos. It worked out around 1000 Dollars per million video views. That has probably dropped now, with recent lower advertising rates, and explains all the shitty mid rolls we are now seeing on videos.

Do you mean me ? Haha. To answer some of the questions - I've certainly mentioned stuff in previous videos about this place, fruit-emu and the like but I don't go through an extensive list of thanks to people every video. My channel is so small that I barely make anything off ads. Obviously it'd be great if it got much bigger but it's such a niche audience it's unlikely.
If people who have made a layout or the actual emulator people themselves have a problem with me having ads on videos I do come and say so, I'm not about to argue I'd probably just shut my channel as it's not worth the hassle. I do bring some level of interesting knowledge to things I think with the experiences I have had and thought that'd count for something. It does take quite a lot of time to fire out a video, even with little production.

I think I was the first person to start showing actual tricks on the emulators on youtube or at least churn out a load of them, I could be wrong I'm not sure. It seemed to inspire others to do the same so I thought that was a good thing. On that note what happened to on a bucket ?!

Maybe he meant me because yesterday I linked my Fun In The Sun jackpot trick video from my YouTube channel. I don't even speak on the videos, it's just playing methods on old machines with a few tricks and empty methods. So it's just for fun. I wrote an acknowledgement in the discussion part of my channel.

I actually made a video showing the trick on Just The Ticket by Maygay. It is an empty because you can keep getting jackpots but the machine can cut you short and you have no influence over this. I only got the initial jackpot plus another 2 on the video so it might not be worth posting on YouTube until I can get 5 or 6 jackpots.
