Please be looking in the legacy section, that is what it's there for, thank you come again..

I did check it and to be honest I was lost by what the following meant....

This also means that a little "leg-work" will need to be needed to make them run as this are distributed without the rom needed for the game.

The games here also do not include the RAM file so will be in a reset status.

You can download the layout itself. I.E the toy itself, but if you want the batteries to run it, i.e. the rom files, you have to find them elsewhere, on a rom site for instance.

You may need a specific type of rom, to find out which type you need to use, you need to open the .gam file, that comes with the layout itself, open it with notepad if it asks which program to use.

Once the .gam file is open, it will have something like this showing (these are the roms shown in the .gam file for the £25 version of the machine.)

Sound 95008440.bin
Sound 95008441.bin
ROM 95412452.LO
ROM 95412453.HI

Whatever the roms are shown in the £5 .gam file are the roms you would need.

So you go to a rom file site, that has fruit machine emulation roms (normally they are under mame roms), such as this https://www.planetemu.net/roms/mame-roms?page=I

You download sets of roms for the machine in question until you find the appropriate roms.

Once you have the roms, put them in the same folder as the layout file.

EDIT.......Not including ram file part, mean the machine will load up as if it's been switched on for the first time, with no money ever put in or taken out. You may get a ram error with some machines, but that should clear.

or I am still wondering if @Geddy does a the lovely DVD service still and if so, are the roms/files included?

I guess it's more of a 64 gig USB or SD card kind of service now.  However even with that it would involve unzipping the roms/layouts and putting them into a folder...gosh.

Then of course there is this section designed for the purpose...

.....not to be too grumpy about it all but a effing large amount of work has been done to make this whole Fruit Machine Emulation lark as simple as possible BUT and here is the rub you have to do a little ground work to get it going.  I can remember years ago I was offered a decent amount of cash to go round to someone's house and install it all for them.. not sure if I had to wait around to press the hold and start buttons for them though 🤔

Dont worry yourself Geddy. Some people are good at certain things that other people are not. For example I could build you an extension from start to finish but im not so good at this sort of stuff. I just paid £5 and was given one big file to download with everything I need and more.

Thanks for the explanation mate, much appreciated. I will know for next time.

I know it's in the legacy section but comes without the ram file, I was looking for the one I had before if that makes sense. I did try to get it from emu but couldn't. Thanks

@justme2019 Here's the layout complete with ROMs and a RAM I've been playing with. Owes a fair bit so will give a few invincible boards from the off.
