Today I had the pleasure of trying this that arrived...

Great service from ByteDelight.  The owner there was a complete pleasure to deal with.

This is a refurbished ZX Spectrum 48K in a rather nice white case.

The ZX-HD brings HDMI connectivity to the computer and the picture has never been sharper.

Press the little reset button on the ZX-HD and the Spectrum then starts.

Games are loaded using the digital cassette recorder which was brought seperately - basically TAP files on an SD card and no moving parts or magnetic ribbon to snap or fail.  They actually load in real-time and this is what I wanted, I know there are instant solutions.

The ACG key on Atic Atac always looked the wrong way around to me.

At least you figured it was a key - for some reason - no matter how many times I had read the instructions and it's here...

...it was way too long before I had realised that it was a key - in my mind, it was a bloody statue as also to me - it didn't look like a key !

I remember we use to find a part, put it by the exit, then go find the next part and repeat.

The first time we got them all, we put them together. I vaguely remember some sort of pick/drop/pick/drop panicked sequence of getting it to look right and then us wondering why it wouldn't work. Eventually after a few times of getting all the parts of the key, we figured we had it the wrong way around.
