One I never played in the arcade, but played the 8 bit and 16 bit versions a hell of a lot.

Wizard is about to die... Surely is one of the most well known sounds from video games of the 80s.

Evening all.

My best games from the 80s (some late 70s)

Space Invaders, managed about 45,000 on a sit down model and 116,990 on a variant which also had weird tank game on. Remember here in Reading they had a competition at The Hexagon Theatre it was that popular, they used the original "The Invaders" machines.

2. Defender - managed the million a couple of times.

3. Gorf - around 270,000 (over 140 screens, does that sound about right?)

4. Robotron - the most mental game on earth - anyone play Llamatron?

5.Scramble

Was never much cop at Donkey Kong or Pac Man.

Above average on Galaxian, Asteroids and Tempest.

Great times.
