Boulderdash
I no particular order, Space Invaders, Galaxian, Missile Command, Galaga, Centipede, OutRun, Mr Do, PacMan, Phoenix and Moon Cresta. I could play them all today and get just as much joy (and pain) out of them. I once won a holiday to Florida by playing PacMan on the HeartFM website
barcrest junky
When we played Tempest I can recall a hack where if you were past a certain level had scored over x and your score ended in 83, if you let yourself die it would clock you some free credits, something like 20. There was another combo which triggered unlimited lives too.
harry2
Evening all. My best games from the 80s (some late 70s) Space Invaders, managed about 45,000 on a sit down model and 116,990 on a variant which also had weird tank game on. Remember here in Reading they had a competition at The Hexagon Theatre it was that popular, they used the original "The Invaders" machines. 2. Defender - managed the million a couple of times. 3. Gorf - around 270,000 (over 140 screens, does that sound about right?) 4. Robotron - the most mental game on earth - anyone play Llamatron? 5.Scramble Was never much cop at Donkey Kong or Pac Man. Above average on Galaxian, Asteroids and Tempest. Great times. Edited January 4, 2022 by harry2
